New Additions of Point and Combo Guards in the 2028 Rankings

She can change speeds well to keep defenders off balance. Her court vision is excellent as she can make some nifty passes from a variety of angles. She can also run the pick and roll well with the pass as well as her ability to create a bucket off the dribble.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1902389' first='Holly' last='Haynes'] (Charleston): A 5'2" point guard who is a hidden gem in the SEMO area. She has good quickness and she is very elusive with her smooth handles. She can get downhill off the dribble to score or she can drop off a defender with a nice escape move to create a perimeter jumper. She also does a nice job of using her strength against opposing defenders.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1902390' first='Makhia' last='Williams'] (Miller Career Academy): A 5'6' point guard who is one of the top returning players in the Public High League in St. Louis. She is a three-level scorer who can stop and pop to hit the mid-range jumper. She can also shoot it well from 3-point range. She excels on the defensive end as someone who can hawk the ball and apply good pressure. She is an excellent floor general who distributes the ball and can get downhill on the drive and also hit the open 3-pointer.
