I’ve already talked about the 2024’s that stood out as well as the point guards from the event. Here are some final standouts that definitely deserve your attention this summer.
Elizabeth Wyrick Elizabeth Wyrick 6’0″ | SF Greensboro Day | 2025 State NC did a nice job sliding into the openings being ready for the pass and bucket. She backed her defender down to the paint with her dribbles, and she turned to score with ease. She crashed the boards on the offensive end knowing how to make adjustments to get the ball back up and through the hoop.
Leila Henderson Leila Henderson 5’6″ | SF Western Guilford | 2025 NC attacked the basket showing off some nice handles getting by her opponent and battling through contact for some points. She did a nice job penetrating the paint on a fast break and finding her open teammate for some points. She got right back on defense stripping the ball for another steal to take the other direction.
Chiquora Miles Chiquora Miles 5’10” | SF Wake Forest | 2025 NC attacked the basket showing off some nice finishes at the rim banking in her points. She was moving well without the ball to find the open spaces, and she attacked the basket creating some space for her teammates underneath the basket. She can lock down her opponents trying to get by her as she protects the basket.

Katlyn Newsome Katlyn Newsome 5'10" | PF Northern Guilford | 2025 NC
Katlyn Newsome Katlyn Newsome 5’10” | PF Northern Guilford | 2025 NC hustles back on offense being ready for the transition pass and to put the ball through the hoop. She uses her power dribbles and nice footwork to get some points on the block. She stepped outside to knock down her midrange shot, too.

Raegan Bartfield
Raegan Bartfield came out hot in the second half knocking down her shot from deep and attacking the basket on fast breaks. She did a nice job sliding into the openings to put up her shot, and she knew how to relocate to get the easier pass from her teammates. She found her open teammates underneath the basket, too.
