Lena is a dynamo with the ball in her hands. She plays fast and her motor is non-stop. An elite ball handler, she is at her best in transition or breaking down defenses in the half court, getting in the lane and finding teammates for easy buckets. She gets out fast in transition for open layups and in the half court she can finish with a floater in the lane. She has an improving jumper and is not afraid to stick the three when defenses play off. A little bit of flash makes her an entertaining player to watch. Defensively she uses her quickness and footwork to disrupt the flow of opposing offenses. She is not backing down from anyone as her Exodus NYC EYBL team takes on some of the best. She scored almost 300 points as a freshman at Dwight Englewood HS to go along with 100 steals.
Highlights
Deadly pull up game off the bounce. She controls the game for CJ Hawks. She goes hard with the ball and uses her strength and great angles to get where she wants on the court. When she gets in the lane, she has an exceptional floater game to finish over defenders. High IQ player. Cassidy does a great job reading the defense and moving to open spots or slashing to the rim looking for the ball. If you play off her too much, she is more than capable of sticking the 3. She pushes tempo and keeps her head up in transition while always looking to advance the ball for easy layups. She is an opportunistic defender and certainly not afraid to get on the floor after a loose ball. With over 600 points of production graduating from St. Rose, Cassidy’s role should continue to grow as a junior.
Does a little bit of everything for Team Sharp. What jumps out to me is her ability and willingness to make great passes into tight windows. She puts the ball on the deck and goes hard and when defenders help, she finds players for open shots. Good passer in traffic. Very comfortable catching and shooting at the 3-point line. Tiffany is not afraid to step in a take a charge and defends with active hands getting deflections and steals. She plays with good tempo and is always in control and works hard with the ball to keep defenses on their heels. A strong summer season should carry over into her senior year at Franklin HS.
A confident shooter from beyond the arc, she does not need a lot of space to get her shot off. She had 7 games with multiple 3s as a freshman at Hudson Catholic. She is carrying that confidence over to her NJ Raptors team where she aggressively spots up looking to catch and shoot. Defensively she is not afraid to be physical and gets her hands on a lot of balls when guarding. She will mix it up inside and get after rebounds as evidenced by her 4+rpg at Hudson Catholic. She will be a key piece of a young talented group for the Hawks.
