Ar Jayla Elder-5’9 G/F (Dallas Lincoln) 2026
Elder will be added to the 2026 Top 100 on my next update, in early June probably and to be honest with you, I can’t find anything I’ve written on her which means someone probably didn’t turn a non-erroneous roster but nevertheless, she’s long and athletic, which will always be the base and watching her playing the passing lane as well as block shots effortlessly was enough. She also rebounds on both ends, handles the ball in the open court, scores off the dribble, and drops the pull-up jumper anytime she wants
N’kiyah Burge N’kiyah Burge 5'11" | PF Douglass | 2026 State OK -5’11 G/F (Harding Charter Prep) 2026
Burge sold me a few years ago, and she too is long and athletic, see above. Her hands and footwork around the basket get the #THROWBACK hashtag dropped but her timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots is ahead of her years. Why did I say that? Because I’m a REAL EVALUATOR and seeing her do things INSTINCTIVELY is what sold more the initial sighting but she keeps adding even more. Yes, she can rebound and handle the ball in the open court but her court vision in transition has taken off. Her pull-up jumper, mid to long-range, as well as scoring off the dribble is special
Aja Smith-5’4 PG (Reed MS) 2027
Smioth showed a deceptive first step to get the defender off balance and it was over as she attacked off the dribble with either hand yet more importantly, she finished with either hand but even more importantly was her ability to dish going full speed. Her body control on her finishes was nice, she understands how to control the tempo as well well as create her shot but she also does a good job of getting her teammates involved. Thrown in her “on the ball” defense as well as her upside, well scary upside and I already know what’s coming
Jada Patterson-5’9 G/F (St Anthony) 2027
Patterson goes after EVERYTHING off the rim, yeah I gotta drop #THROWBACK for that as well. She has UPS coupled with DESIRE and that equates to her “you won’t outwork me mindset” and it shows, on both ends. She goes after loose balls and understands how to use her strong frame inside the paint to finish, after contact. She also attacks the basket strongly from the wing and played tough interior defense but she also used her athleticism and lateral movement to defend “on the ball”
Justice Woods-5’7 CG (Deercreek MS) 2028
Woods has always shown “poise under pressure” and that sold me a few years ago. Her first step has gone from deceptive to semi-explosive but her ball-handling has more razzle-dazzle in the open court. Speaking of the open court, she sees the floor in transition very well, her 25-foot passes between defenders on the money got her teammates’ gimmes yet her “stop and pop” jumper, also in transition was equally impressive. She has good body control on her finishes and her defense was solid

I didn’t catch her at the event, seen her a couple of times yet she has the IT factor
