Kayla played some big minutes for her team Friday night. She was able to knock down a couple of much needed 3 pointers and seemed to always make the right play. She had a number of plays where she was able to break down her opponent off the dribble including a nasty crossover that left the lane wide open. Kayla stays very low on defense and does a good job staying in front of her opponents. She such a solid and reliable PG that you can trust to run the position.
It is obvious that Boston has stayed committed to continuing to develop her game. She continues to be an elite defender but has added more tools to her offensive bag. She did an excellent job running the PG position and constantly stayed in attack mode. She is not afraid to go to rim and appears to embrace contact. She was able to hit the mid range jumper and also drained a 3 from way downtown. She is just a player who consistently gets after it and takes pride in giving everything she has on each and every play.

Janiya plays with a ton of intensity and is extremely active. She excels on defense where she is not afraid to be physical. She can handle the ball well and knows how to call the offense. She also has a nice jump shot that she utilizes when needed. She was able to knock down a huge 3 that sent the game into overtime.

Kornelia is such a talented player that can play either of the guard spots. She does an excellent job penetrating inside and loves playing in contact. She plays with a ton of confidence and had a play where she took a couple of dribbles and drained a 3 right in the face of her defender. She is an excellent ball handler and does a good job of taking care of the ball under heavy pressure.
Dot played with a ton of toughness Friday night and never seems to get rattled under pressure. She is a PG that can run the offense but can also play off the ball. She has a ton of awareness and can affect the game even if the ball is not in her hands. She had a nice play where she got by her defender and hit a high floater off the glass. She is a really solid PG that we’ll be keeping our eye on this season.
There is just something special about watching Amya play the PG position. She has a very quick first step which allows her to get where she wants to go. She can use her speed to get to the rim and she can lead the fast break. She is also able to slow the game down run the half court set when she needs to.

Emma played a great game Friday night as she was able to do many things well on the court. Offensively, she was able to stretch the floor with her 3 point shooting and was able to keep the defense honest as she is more than capable of scoring inside through traffic. She is a very good ball handler and did a great job of not turning the ball over despite the defense sending full court traps her way. She was very quick and decisive with the ball and doesn’t play with any hesitation.
