The event was held across two days from May 6-7 and featured some of the top travel teams in Southern California as well as few out of state teams as well. She was particularly good at shooting the corner three-pointer with consistency off the catch. She spots up well and has a quick release. In the halfcourt, she has a little pull-up jumper.

4. The Spring Championship hosted by Sports Academy was one of the tip-off events to the spring travel season. I was able to attend the event on Sunday, May 7 and focused on the in state teams. Here's a look at some additional standouts I saw.

1. Jordin Blackmon Jordin Blackmon 5'6" | SG Bishop Montgomery | 2025 State CA - Why Not Premier 16U EYBL/Bishop Montgomery 2025

Blackmon stood out to me as a player who can get a lot of scoring opportunities off the ball. She was particularly good at shooting the corner three-pointer with consistency off the catch. She spots up well and has a quick release. She can also fake the shot on closeouts and put the ball on the floor. Able to shoot the midrange pull-up. Good length for a wing with the tools be solid defensively.

2. Emily Eadie Emily Eadie Emily Eadie 6'0" | SG Sage Hill | 2024 State CA - Why Not Premier 17U EYBL/Sage Hill 2024

Eadie stood out as one of the top interior players at the event. She is active in the paint on both ends of the court with good size. On the offensive end, she is efficient in the paint with a nice touch around the basket. On the defensive end, she's very active challenging shots around the basket and acting as a rim protector. Moves well and can cover ground defensively.

3. Kaeli Wynn Kaeli Wynn Kaeli Wynn 6'1" | SF Mater Dei | 2026 State #23 Nation CA - Sports Academy Swish 16U Derek Fisher/Mater Dei 2026

Wynn is a strong interior player with good size. She can take advantage of smaller players in the paint. She can be an efficient scorer around the basket. She's a good rebounder especially on the offensive end keeping possessions alive and getting put back opportunities. Boxes out well and rebounds with two hands. In the halfcourt, she has a little pull-up jumper.

4. Sheana Brew - Why Not Premier 16U EYBL/Etiwanda 2025

Brew is a strong guard with a good combination of strength and skill. She uses her strength well to attack the basket and muscle her way into the lane.
