The event was held across two days from May 6-7 and featured some of the top travel teams in Southern California as well as few out of state teams as well. I was able to attend the event on Sunday, May 7 and focused on the in state teams. Here’s a look at some additional standouts I saw.
1. Bailey Prewitt –
Cal Stars
16U TOC/Crenshaw 2026
Prewitt stood out with a good game against a very talented

16U team. She didn’t have any issue creating her own shot and attacking the defense consistently. She was able to read the defense and find open teammates in the halfcourt. She was patient offensively, baiting defenders and drawing fouls. Good footwork in the post area. Hustle player who dives after loose balls. Good on ball defender.
2.
Cyriah Coleman

Coleman is capable of playing both guard positions. She’s pretty seamless when it comes to either getting her shot or being a playmaker. In the halfcourt she keeps the ball moving and makes sure the offense flows. She consistently attacks the basket and draws contact. Able to hit the pull-up jumper in the midrange. Pushes the pace in transition and can dribble well under defensive pressure.
3.

Why Not Premier
17U EYBL/I Lead Charter 2024
Price was an effective player in the paint and was able to step outside of the post as well with a little jumper. She positions herself well and can be a force on the glass. Effective offensive rebounder getting put-backs and second shot opportunities. On the defensive end, she can be an anchor in the paint, does well contesting shots at the basket.
4.
Journey Wilson

This was my second time seeing Wilson play and she once again stood out as an effective scoring option. She’s very comfortable creating her own shot. Consistently spins into the middle and puts pressure on the defense. Consistently gets downhill and gets paint touches. She has a midrange shot as well. In terms of her playmaking, she does a good job running the halfcourt offense and keeping the ball from stagnating.
