– Ashley has always been a favorite of mine, because she has always shown skill and flashed the potential to be a nice college prospect. Well, she’s now starting to show strength in her game and completing plays more frequently. She has a long frame, broad shoulders, and fluid athleticism. She isn’t so much fast as she is just smooth. She can knock down shots consistently, plus she’s a versatile defender who can take on most guards.

– Avah missed some time this Spring due to injury, but I was able to see her in the “Futures” game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in early June, and she played well. She has gotten noticeably stronger, she is absorbing contact better, but she’s still a solid all-around athlete. She is a multilevel scorer who typically looks to attack first, shoot second. She plays on the ball for her high school at times, but I feel like she’s better suited as a scorer.

– Ellie is a talented shooter who can get on a roll and knock down several 3-pointers in a row if she gets any rhythm. She has an athletic frame, nice length, and she has gotten stronger each year. She has shown the ability to handle the ball and run offense, but she’s more of a game manager than a break-you-down creator. She has a strong basketball IQ, good situational awareness, and she always plays with a competitive motor.

– Meredith is a really nice athlete who has been a strong player for years now. She has great length, wiry strength, and she is a nice North/South athlete. She might be one of the best “long jumpers” in terms of exploding to the rim off of her dribble and finishing in the paint. She can shoot it outside as well, plus she’s an effortful defender who rebounds. She’s also an incredibly tough ballplayer who likes to play with some contact.

GUAA 16U
– Kaycie had a solid Spring but I was most impressed with her play during the IBCA team shootout a couple of weeks ago. She has a great motor, nice length, good end-to-end speed, plus some quickness. She is handling the ball much better, changing directions against pressure, and getting to the basket and finishing. She is a scrappy defender and can put a lot of pressure on ball-handlers, plus she is a willing rebounder.
