About Meredith
Expert Analysis
Brandon Bradley | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Meredith is one of the fiercest competitors in the state. She plays with an outstanding motor, she is always around the ball battling for every inch, plus she is willing to be physical at the guard spot. She has nice length, an athletically strong frame, and she has really nice North/South speed plus some bounce. Meredith is best off the dribble attacking the basket, but she has proven in big games that she can knock down big shots from outside as well. Additionally, she is an effortful and versatile on-ball defender who likes a challenge.

Meredith is another kid I mention a lot. Why? Well, as opposed to 20 years ago, playing with a motor has become a much more obscure recruiting trait instead of an expectation, and she always plays with as much energy, effort, and toughness as anyone in Indiana’s 2025 class. What makes it better is, Meredith is also a talented athlete with length, North/South speed, and bounce. She can make shots at all three levels, she absorbs contact and finishes inside, plus she can step over and handle the ball a little and run offense when needed. I also love her defensive versatility.

Tippner went bonkers in Game 1 last night as she was scoring at all 3 levels. She was 12-17 and shot over 70% from the field. This girl can absolutely hoop. shifty off the bounce and her off ball movement was elite.

As the level of competition rises, so does Meredith’s competitive fire. She always plays with a great motor, but her urgency and toughness somehow go to another level in big games. She is a really nice athlete with length, wiry strength, speed, and even some bounce to her. She has adapted to contact over the years, and now she just drives through contact to get to the basket, plus she has learned how to finish in a variety of ways inside. Her jump-shot has also become more consistent, and she is scoring it from all areas of the floor at a higher rate. Meredith is also a top defender.
