Memorial has a few underclassmen who have the potential to make a huge impact this coming season but much of their success will be based on the knowledge, skill and feel for the game that Hall brings when she steps onto the court!
Mataya Hall Mataya Hall 5’9″ | CG Tulsa Memorial | 2025 State OK – 2025: Mataya brings an energy to the game instantaneously! 1st possession, Mataya and her teammates are on defense – she is vocal and she is directing traffic — letting her teammates know where to go, calling out screens and making multiple stops in a matter of seconds. She thrives on defense! She can guard the perimeter with ease as her lateral movements to cut off the line of the ball handler are quick and deliberate. She can guard the bigs inside and force kick out’s – but, once the ball is passed back out to the perimeter, she sprints to the ball and contests shots, aggressively! ENERGY IS ON 100! Offensively, Mataya is difficult to guard as she is able to shoot from deep but knows when and how to get to the basket and finish at the rim – usually initiating contact and garnering the “and 1” — Mataya Hall Mataya Hall 5’9″ | CG Tulsa Memorial | 2025 State OK has already made a name for herself but this season, expect to hear her name more often and in many conversations!
Amari Landrum
Amari Landrum
Amari Landrum – 2024: Amari is a player that uses her speed to her advantage! – during the game on Thursday, when she grabbed a defensive rebound, she was able to “win the race” to her basket by dribbling through multiple defenders and getting to the basket for an easy lay-up. Landrum is a solid ball handler and stayed composed under pressure. The aspect of Amari’s game that really stood out was her grit – she was diving after loose balls, forced a number of tie balls and chased down long rebounds!

Jayelynn Doan Jayelynn Doan 5’2″ | CG Tulsa Memorial | 2026 State OK – 2026: Jayelynn is an aggressive on ball defender – the way she plays defense flusters the ball handler and she forced a number of turnovers throughout the game. Doan is stellar on the defensive end but she is just as skilled on the offensive side – she is able to get to the basket and shoots well from different spots on the court.
Bessie Sellars
Bessie Sellars
Bessie Sellars – 2026: Bessie has a good tempo and pace to her game – she handled pressure well when the ball was in her hands and was able to find her open teammates in transition with crisp passes. She battled inside for tough rebounds and did not back down from the bigger and stronger players.
Autumn Wright
Autumn Wright
Autumn Wright – 2026: Autumn is a player with alot of potential – there were flashes throughout the game that showed she could be a pivitol part of the Lady Chargers success. She had 5 steals in the first half & a handful of deflections by reading the pass and getting into the passing lane. Wright is aggressive on the glass and was one of the scrappiest player on the court.
