Another Sapulpa transfer, Mataya is not only a former State Champion herself, but a Top-25 ranked player in the class of 2025. What you get with Mataya is a player who can do it all, really. A scorer from every level, she is very physical and has a plethora of ways to finish at the rim. Defensively, she is quick footed and agile. Long story short, she is a big-time prospect. A new thing that showed up at this practice was Mataya’s leadership. With her father taking on the coaching role, Mataya’s natural leadership has come to the fore as she mentors younger players. Even more positives to add to the recruiting profile.

Mataya will lead the Lady Chargers this coming season with her crafty finishes and quick shots from beyond the arc. She is a player who can slice through defenses and finish at the rim through traffic. She isn’t just a offensive threat as she has killer instincts on defense and can guard all 5 positions. — when Hall isn’t scoring or making stops, she is doing all the little things to set her teammates up for easy baskets and finding her open teammates in transition. Mataya will have an exceptional junior year!

Hall is a player who just finds a way to put the ball in the basket. She is going to get double-digits and there isn’t much you can do about it. Take one thing away from her and she’s just going back in her bag and grabbing another tool. She has plenty of them. Inside, outside, midrange, she can score it from anywhere. Add in the fact that she is the personality and heart of almost any team that she’s on and you have one amazing college recruit!

She thrives on defense! She can guard the perimeter with ease as her lateral movements to cut off the line of the ball handler are quick and deliberate. She can guard the bigs inside and force kick out’s – but, once the ball is passed back out to the perimeter, she sprints to the ball and contests shots, aggressively! ENERGY IS ON 100!
