She doing a great job of continuing to impress and make people second-guess their doubts about her. She already picked up seven offers in the spring on the strength of a strong game. Her bread and butter, of course, is her strength. She’s ready to muscle her away around a college floor. Combining that with her fantastic footwork inside makes her a true Division II threat. The outside stuff she does is just a bonus. Coaches, if you want a smart kid with a great basketball IQ than offer this Tiger, now!
Shy Miller Shy Miller 5'6" | SG Belpre | 2026 OH , Belpre, 5-5, G, So. – Wherever Shy lands at the next level, defense will be her bread and butter. Easily. Even if she improves on the offensive end, her defense will always be miles ahead. Deceptively strong and terrifyingly quick, she body’s up her man on the perimeter and there won’t be a lot of kids who get by her. Heck, they will even have a hard time creating space. You don’t get a three-foot cushion with her. She is up on her defender and I absolutely love that approach.
Lauren Flanagan Lauren Flanagan 5'4" | PG Parkersburg | 2026 State WV , Parkersburg, 5-2, PG, So. – This kid is an absolute spark plug on the floor. She plays the game at 110 miles per hour and is a top-notch rim attacker and she’s good at using it. Even her 5-2 size can’t hold her back, she handles the ball well if she gets in to traps, if you can catch her in one. Speaking of her size, she’s still adapting to her size against high school kids. However, her speed, again, greatly offsets her size. She’s definitely a kid to keep an eye on if you are a D-II, D-III or NAIA coach.
Gracie Shamblin Gracie Shamblin 5'10" | C Parkersburg South | 2024 State WV , Parkersburg South, 5-10, W, Sr. – Gracie Shamblin Gracie Shamblin 5'10" | C Parkersburg South | 2024 State WV possesses the pieces to be a great scorer at the next level. She scores from every level, she gets to the rim, she muscles her way through a crowd … it’s all there, almost. Her mental strength can sometimes get the better of her. She’s very hard on herself when she’s not playing well. Trust is a must for her at the next level. Trust in herself and trust in the fact that her game is always there and it may just take a quarter to get going. Maybe that sounds harsh, but she has the tools to wait on her shot to come around. She passes the ball at a high clip and moves people out of the way for rebounds. She’s definitely a person to be interested in if you need a senior to fill out your team.
Seneca Lang Seneca Lang 5'9" | SG Parkersburg Catholic | 2026 State WV , Parkersburg Catholic, 5-8, W, So. – This young lady will burst onto the scene in a big way for Parkersburg Catholic in the fall. After she sat out a year following a transfer from Waterford Ohio, she will be fully out of her shell. She’s very active on the floor as a nice two-way player. Active doesn’t begin to describe her energy level. I would be shocked if she isn’t an all-state kid for the Crusaderettes during her first year on the high school court.
