Inspired Athletics 12U National– I have to give this talented group of players some credit and respect. I’ve watched them play multiple times over the Summer and I’m always impressed with how well they play and how good they are. For being a 12U team you would think they are much older with their ability to score from anywhere, their ball movement and discipline on the floor. There isn’t a single player on this team that isn’t flat out impressive and fun to watch. If you have a chance to get to Kennedy High School, or Wayzata High School this weekend, you will be in for some good basketball.
Alli Reiner: Inspired Athletics 12U National- Remember the name Alli Reiner down the road. When it comes to a young, passionate hardworking and athletic individual who gives her all, you get Alli. At nearly 5’11 Reiner has talent and IQ beyond her years and has the footwork to match for a young age. Primarily a post player, her ability to crash the boards, and using shifty post moves in the paint to score are impressive for her age. But what makes her even more special is the fact she can shoot the ball like a guard from 15′ and beyond. It’s not uncommon to see her knock down longer shots with ease, and make it look effortless. Reiner is LOADED with talent and will be a big name in the future. Her intangibles are off the charts, and her future is very bright to say the least.
Claire Woods Claire Woods 5'6" | CG Sioux Falls Washington | 2025 State SD : Inspired Athletics 13U National- Clair is a tough, hardnosed and strong PF that is dedicated to not only improving herself, but her game as well. As a PF she uses her good sized frame well to get in, block out and grab the boards off the glass with ease. She also has a nice feel around the rim and has a good knack at making sure those second chance points get in the bucket. She makes good cuts, and is always looking to score. Claire has a lot of upside to her game, and with her big sister Scout Woods Scout Woods 5'10" | SF Wahpeton | 2025 State ND pushing her…you know she is going to be a quality player.
Lakyn Donnelly Lakyn Donnelly 5'5" | PG Horace | 2028 ND : Inspired Athletics 13U National: Lakyn is flat out tough, and her Basketball IQ is off the charts for her age. When she’s on the floor she gives everything, she has all game long, and her motor never slows down. She is a 3-level scorer who knows how to knock down shots in transition, or making pull-up jumpers look effortless. She has incredibly strong handles that are well beyond her years and a fluid shot she has spent endless hours on. She is another one of those young players that is going to be a known name in the area for quite sometime.
Saydee Bearstail: Bearstail 10U- When it comes to a 10U player that will have you impressed, it’s Saydee Bearstail. At 10years old you would think she is easily 13-14 with the way she carries herself on the court, and her ball handling skills, not to mention the way she can attack the rim and finish through contact and knock down deep shots already. Saydee plays much older then she is, and she can back up her game all day. She may be young, but wow! is she impressive. The Basketball gene runs in her blood, and you can tell she has spent a TON of time in the gym working on her game.
Dandi Keplin: Bearstail 10U- Another young and talented player on the Bearstail roster is Dandi. I’ve watched her many times over the years and she only gets better and better. A superior ball handler for her age, and a very sticky defender with great footwork to match, Dandi is a terror on the floor. For being 10 she has a good vision of the court, whats going on and knows how to create space to knockdown buckets. She is very talented and has a bright future ahead of her. She is going to be a fun one to follow down the road.
Jada Johnson: Inspired Athletics 12U National- Jada is a very tough player and can find a way to score anywhere on the court. She is a very crafty and shifty player who can not only drive to the hoop, but stop pull up, and drop buckets. With her speed it she has a good feel for getting open and a quick release off her shot. She has excellent handles for a young age and her IQ very high for a young player. You can tell she has spent a lot of time practicing the game she loves.
