Taylyn Banta 5’7, Guard, 2026
Banta is a player from the Akron area that is known to the city, but will soon be known to all. She keeps the basketball on a string. Banta can score on all three levels. She has great size and length which causes deflections on defense and offensively gets her where she needs to be. This young lady is one that will impact immediately this year and be known in NEO.
Jayleena Orozco 5’5, Guard, 2024
Orozco is a strong physical guard. She is a tough defender on the ball and creates good pressure. Orozco can finish both left hand and right as a PG that’s a must-have. This young lady shoots the ball well behind the perimeter. She led her team all summer and made it hard for other defenders. This young lady needs to continue to develop overall before the season and could lead them where they want to be!
Amariya Davis 5’4, Guard, 2026
The string is the thing for Davis. This young lady keeps that basketball and is shifty. She can shoot it from the perimeter and the mid-range area. This young lady has a step back that gets her all the opportunity she needs. Davis has high basketball instincts for the game of basketball. She does the right things offensively the right way being so young she has a bright future. Davis by season time has opportunities to develop into the player that eyes need to be on this winter.
Sydney Ferguson 6’2, Wing, 2028
Ferguson is not your typical 2028 she’s only under the radar due to how young she is. She proved to be able to play with the best of them in this summer league. Ferguson knocks it down from the perimeter and pushes the ball in transition finishing through traffic regardless of contact. She is athletic and passes the eye test. This young lady has a bright future and will be a name that will be followed.
Sanayiia Gray 5’10, forward, 2025
Sanayiia is rare in today’s game due to the fact that she does not take plays off. She has a superior work ethic and a purpose larger than herself it shows. She rebounds and can push the break in transition. Sanayiia runs the floor and has a good touch to her shot. This young lady impacts the game with her versatility and she is coachable.
