Kamryn Lecce
I think what Lecce does translates more to the free-flowing style of AAU ball, and she pops more on the floor because of it. There aren’t many glaring weaknesses in her game, and she fits in any spot from the two through the four. Lecce’s a tough kid who plays through contact and has quick enough feet to stay in front of her assignment defensively. Over time small schools will love the versatility she brings to the floor.
Taya Fernandez Taya Fernandez 5'6" | CG Edgewood (Madison) | 2024 State WI
There are certain can’t-miss qualities in Fernandez’s game. One of those is her leadership. I don’t know many kids who can direct their teammates and have the attention of every teammate on the floor and the bench. Whenever she talks, people listen. Fernandez is also skilled with the ball in her hands. She has plenty of confidence in herself to make plays, and she makes them on a routine basis. I love her aggression, and her willingness to make things happen will help her team at the next level when she plays with a shot clock.
Every time I see Cooper, I love her consistent level of contribution. She always finds ways to affect the game whether she’s scoring or not, and that’s an excellent way to find minutes early at the next level. Her defense is always noticeable, and she has more length than you’d expect from a 5-8 guard. Cooper does an excellent job getting her hands in the passing lane and containing opposing guards with her range and lateral quickness. Also, when she makes shots, she makes them in bunches. However, regardless of if she makes shots, she can noticeably affect the game by creating for teammates or defending.
Olivia Witkowski Olivia Witkowski 6'0" | PF Weyawega-Freemont | 2025 State WI
Defensively, there aren’t many more impactful 6-0 defenders in the 2025 class. She can dominate the interior of the paint and alter shots every time down the floor. Witkowski can also step out and guard players on the perimeter if she gets switched onto a guard. Most people won’t know about her during the high school season because of the program she plays for, but teams will feel her presence when they play her over the summer.
