Fall camp is just around the corner, and with that being the case we begin to look forward into the 2023-24 season. As we head into the season here are a few highly talented seniors who will be returning to their high school teams this winter.
Jordan Hunter Jordan Hunter 5’10” | C Hewitt-Trussville | 2024 State AL of Hewitt Trussville impacts the game of basketball in so many different ways. Hunter has the ability to efficiently and effectively orchestrate an entire offense. Hunter can get into the paint seemingly at will due largely to her handle. Once she is there she can finish at an elite level as well as create great looks for her teammates. The defensive end of the floor is where Hunter really strives. She has great hands, instincts, and the ability to guard multiple positions at a high level.
Tamya Smith Tamya Smith 6’0″ | SF Pleasant Grove | 2024 State AL will be returning to Hazel Green to encore what was a phenomenal run to end the 2022-23 season. There isn’t much of anything that Smith doesn’t do really well on the floor. At 6’0 Smith is extremely versatile, with a solid handle, and next level basketball IQ. Smith is also an elite defender, and a more than capable shooter. Combine all of the attributes together, and you can understand jut how Smith positively impacts the game in every way imaginable.
