5-Star Guard Leah Harmon Transfers To IMG Academy

<p>5-star rising senior guard Leah Harmon has transferred from Sidwell Friends in Washington, DC down to Bradenton to play for the nationally-ranked Ascenders. Harmon is a University of Miami commit and is listed as a 5-star recruit, according to ESPNW.com's latest rankings. The news was first reported by SportsCenter Next.</p>

<p>Harmon previously led Sidwell Friends to their second consecutive national title as well as back-to-back DCSAA titles as a junior where she averaged 14.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists and nearly two steals per game for the Quakers. </p>

<p>Harmon also plays for Exodus NYC on the girls' EYBL circuit where she is ranked one of the top point guards in the rising senior class. She is a floor general playing under control and is also a true three-level scorer. </p>

<p>Harmon joins a loaded backcourt that features 5-11 senior shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='487612' first='Sienna' last='Dauer'] (Davidson commit), 5-9 junior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='470470' first='Kelis' last='Fisher'] (UConn commit) and 5-10 senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='221702' first='Ciniya' last='Moore']. </p>
