Here some girls that stood out to us as we watched them play this past weekend, this tournament was held in Seal Beach, California at the AIM Sportsplex. These girls showed us they can play and are worthy of garnering some type of scholarship to play college basketball on a big stage. Coaches were in attendance and they watched as well as these girls played hard for the scouts in the building watching. Here is a list of 2024s that stood out to us as we watched, evaluations are below...

2024, 6'2, PF, Woodside Priory (CA), [player_tooltip player_id='756861' first='Carmela' last='Fontes'] - nice size post player in the paint, active and is a bruiser on the court, gets to loose balls and is able to deter drives to the basket. Can handle the ball like a wing, but makes the right decision with the ball all the time.

2024, 6'4, C, Branham HS (CA), [player_tooltip player_id='756863' first='Quinn' last='Godfrey'] - Big post in the paint, wobbly like a baby deer , but is still effective in the paint with soft hands. This kid will develop in the college ranks, but the skill is there with work and repetition. Was able to seal defenders in the paint and catch over top and score. She hit the midrange shot with consistency and ran the floor and got back ready to defend.

2024, 5'3, PG, ArchBishop Riordan HS (CA), [player_tooltip player_id='756865' first='Ashanti' last='Dias'] - crafty lefty point guard with a nasty aggressiveness on the floor, she sees everything and make the right decision every time. Floaty game in the paint, pull-up game in the midrange and can nail the three pointer. She made the team go and we enjoyed watching her play this past weekend.

2024, 5'5, PG, Abraham Lincoln HS (CA), [player_tooltip player_id='756867' first='Kelis' last='Powell'] - eats the glass up inside for a guard, but make a good presence in the paint on scores. Can handle the ball like a guard but prefers to get buckets in the paint with ease, using athleticism. Was the most uncanny thing to see, a guard that could seal in the paint and score whenever she wanted over defenders.
