After some statistical analysis of Prep Girls Hoops’ coverage of Kansas-ranked players, I have put together a report on five players who have yet to be featured in scouting reports.
So here are five ranked players heading into their junior seasons who are currently ranked in the Top 40 in Prep Girls Hoops Kansas player rankings for the Class of 2025.
Kirston Verhulst Kirston Verhulst 5'7" | PG Bishop Miege | 2025 State KS , PG, 5’7”, Bishop Miege (No. 4)
The highest-ranked player on this list is Bishop Miege’s Verhulst. She is a sneaky good defensive player. She can score off the dribble drive and loves to push the pace of the game. She plays club ball with KC Eclipse.
Grace McCallop Grace McCallop 5'9" | PG Bishop Miege | 2025 State KS , PG, 5’9”, Bishop Miege (No. 14)
Ten spots lower in the rankings you will find Verhulst’s Bishop Miege teammate Grace McCallop Grace McCallop 5'9" | PG Bishop Miege | 2025 State KS . She loves to pass the ball and also likes to drive to score her points. She is also a shutdown defender and might be a bit faster than her teammate. I’d love to see them line up and race each other in a suicide sprint. She plays club ball with the Missouri Phenom.
Grace Posch Grace Posch 5'7" | PG Hutchinson | 2025 State KS , CG, 5’7”, Hutchinson (No. 19)
Posch is deadly off the dribble and is currently ranked No. 19 among her Class of 2025 peers in Kansas. She can play either guard position and could cause match-up problems defending small forwards. She is yet another player whose highlights emphasize beating other players with her dribbling skills.
Katja Blanchat Katja Blanchat 5'11" | SF Smoky Valley | 2025 State KS , PF, 5’11”, Smoky Valley (No. 37)
Blanchat is a solid two-sport prospect in basketball and volleyball. She can score in the paint and clean the glass with her rebounding skills. On the volleyball court, she is an outside hitter who can bring “the pain” when she attacks. She plays club basketball with the Wheat State Elite and volleyball with KS Networks. She is ranked in the Top 40 among her class of 2025 Kansas peers by both Prep Girls Hoops and Prep Dig.
Jennicah Pinchon, PF, 5’11”, Garden City (No. 40)
Pinchon is another solid two-sport prospect. The Garden City prospect is ranked No. 40 by PGH Kansas. She is quick and has a big reach. She is a solid defensive-minded player and plays middle hitter for her high school volleyball team. She plays club ball with Gameball Fusion.
