Teams from across the country came to Duluth, Georgia to compete against one another in front of college coaches. Let’s take a look at some of the forwards and even a center from the class of 2024 that has been standing out at the event.

Breonda Summers Breonda Summers 5'6" | SF Parkland | 2024 NC
Breonda Summers Breonda Summers 5’6″ | SF Parkland | 2024 NC hustles back on offense getting up the court for the pass and points in transition. She was handling herself showing her strength when battling on the block for some points moving her defenders where she wanted them to go. She did a nice job running the point on her team’s full court press causing problems and slowing down her opponents.
Paige Sarver Paige Sarver 5’10” | PF South Iredell | 2024 NC was constantly getting her hands on the ball whether she was on defense knocking it away or on offense getting the pass and putting up her shot. She was aggressive attacking the basket and didn’t shy away from contact underneath. She is certainly a multidimensional player scoring on multiple levels for her team.

Lauren Arnold Lauren Arnold 5’11” | SF West Rowan | 2024 State NC runs the floor well being ready for the pass on a fast break to score some points. She pushed the tempo getting past the press with her ball handling, and she had an old fashioned three point play to end the series. Her hands were always involved on defense whether she was grabbing the rebound or deflecting passes. She had a crucial steal late in a tough game stripping the ball from an opponent trying to get by her.
Chloe Moss Chloe Moss 5’11” | PF Independence | 2024 State NC was scoring on all levels knocking down her shot from deep and powering up on the block. She slides around the perimeter to get open, and she attacks the basket, too, making the best cuts. She was rebounding well on both ends of the court showing how versatile she can be on the court and be a prominent player on all levels.
Janiah Shular Janiah Shular 6’0″ | SF 1 of 1 Prep | 2024 NC had a nice shot from deep right when her team needed it to pull away for the win. She continues to show how she’s dynamic with the ball being able to step outside handling the rock as a guard or explode to the basket cutting in and out of the paint to get the pass. With any offense that she is on, her teammates always seem to want to get the ball in her hands.
Michela Jones Michela Jones 6’0″ | SF Winston-Salem Christian National | 2024 State NC had a strong series of plays blocking the pass and grabbing the steal for fast breaks. She got the ball off a pass and scored with ease, and she pushed the tempo herself using her own handles to score some points. She was all over the boards getting rebounds, and she used offensive boards to get her own points.

Kayden Johnson Kayden Johnson 5’11” | SF South Iredell | 2024 NC was all over the court getting rebounds and dropping down for the pass on the block. She didn’t need to finish at the basket to score since she had some range with her shot, too. She can certainly battle against anyone in the paint bringing some life for her team in a close game down the stretch.
Eva Mcrae Eva Mcrae 6’0″ | C Overhills | 2024 State NC was attacking the basket getting some points and making her trips to the free throw line count. She was a powerhouse in the paint bumping the cutters as they tried to flash inside. She rebounded well on both ends, and she showed off her post moves on the block getting some points even with tough jumpers along the baseline.
