Lauren Arnold was flashing all across the court getting the pass and showing off her midrange.  She didn’t back down from contact earning trips to the free throw line.  She hustled back on defense blocking shots in transition to prevent her opponents from scoring on fast breaks.  She matched her number of points with rebounds as she was battling inside for boards on both ends of the court.

West Rowan had an elite group of players this season that were led by Lauren Arnold Lauren Arnold 5'11" | SF West Rowan | 2024 State NC . She was an exceptional athlete on the court who averaged over 16 points per game. Arnold had the ability to score in the open floor, in the paint, from the free throw line, and from the outside as well. The Falcons had a magical season, and Arnold’s versatility was a huge reason for the success of her team. 

Lauren Arnold is continuing her strong season with the 3A state champions.  She recently committed to Mars Hill to continue her playing career, and us North Carolinians are here for it.  She knows how to find the open lanes and get to the rim, and she crashes the boards going after rebounds on both ends.  She’s tough on the block being able to post up on anyone trying to stop her.

Lauren Arnold Lauren Arnold 5'11" | SF West Rowan | 2024 State NC continues to use her length on both ends of the court deflecting passes and pushing the steals up the court.  She hit a nice three pointer right when her team needed to make a push closing the gap on her opponents.  Her leadership is sure to make a big impact for the reigning 3A state champions.

Lauren Arnold Lauren Arnold 5'11" | SF West Rowan | 2024 State NC runs the floor well being ready for the pass on a fast break to score some points.  She pushed the tempo getting past the press with her ball handling, and she had an old fashioned three point play to end the series.  Her hands were always involved on defense whether she was grabbing the rebound or deflecting passes.  She had a crucial steal late in a tough game stripping the ball from an opponent trying to get by her.

Lauren Arnold Lauren Arnold 5'11" | SF West Rowan | 2024 State NC had a nice three point play attacking the paint and scoring through contact.  She does a nice job getting the ball around the perimeter and evaluating the best option making adjustments to get the entry pass to her teammate.  She showed off her ability to block shots on the other end taking the steal the other direction for a solo fast break.  She has some good range shooting the ball from deep as well.

Lauren Arnold Lauren Arnold 5'11" | SF West Rowan | 2024 State NC made a team change this summer playing with Charlotte Dream Elite, and she continues to shine with her new team.  She can do a little bit of everything on the court handling the ball up the court on a fast break off of a defensive rebound she earned to attacking the lane putting up a floater in the paint to posting up on the block and scoring some points from there.  She can guard a range of players, too, being able to close out quickly around the perimeter and show her strength in the paint against post players.

Phifer’s West Rowan teammate, Lauren Arnold Lauren Arnold 5'11" | SF West Rowan | 2024 State NC , was attacking the paint finding the gaps for her teammates or making it count herself from the free throw line.  Her appearing on this list shows her versatility all over the court being able to bring the ball up herself, post up on the block, or attack the basket all on her own.  She certainly helps control the tempo for her team.

Lauren Arnold did a nice job sliding to the block getting the pass and bucket.  She uses her body to protect the possession and battle against contact all over the court.  She slid into passing lanes grabbing the steal, and she can certainly handle these all the way up the court herself.  She was cutting to the hoop with speed staying ready to catch the pass and score.

Lauren Arnold gets up high for rebounds, and she hustles up the court getting some fast break points.  She’s disruptive on defense getting her hands in the way of passes and guards trying to dribble by her.  She had a nice up and under move in transition getting her footwork right for the shot through contact.  Her ball handling is fun to watch as she spun her way to some points on a fast break.
