The contest that I will be highlighting is one between two well known programs out of the midwest in CY Select 2024 VS Nebraska Supreme 2024 UAA. Something to remember is that this award is given to a player that had a Game Changing performance, in all facets of that specific game, while trying to help their team to victory.
Let’s meet the player..

Game Breakdown: This contest, in general, was one of the best game that I had a chance to see this spring. It was between two heavy-weight programs, that have a lot of college level talent competing on each side of the floor. The Nebraska Supreme came out hot to start this contest throughout the first 10 minutes, but as the game proceeded into the back-end of the first half between the two, CY Select & Joycelyn Moore Joycelyn Moore 5'5" | PG South Mission South | 2024 State KS slowly started to take over. At one point Moore scored 13 straight points for her CY Select team, while also dishing out some assists and grabbing some rebounds before going into halftime. In the second half it was much of the same for Moore. She was lighting it up from everywhere on the court, especially behind the three point line on offense. She ended with a game high of 31 points on 12-18 shooting, including an impressive 6-10 from behind the arc. In the end, her team would fall just short by 1 point but not due to a lack of effort. To keep it simple – Moore was the definition of, “unconscious”, right from the tip-off in this game. No matter where she let it go from, it was going to have a real chance of going in. Didn’t matter what the defense did to contest. It was really something fun to watch.
As it pertains to her future, she is going to have some options as to where she wants to play college ball. As of right now she has 3 offers on the table from colleges all around the midwest. She is going to keep up her hard-work over these next few months and really load up for a big senior year. She is the type of player who could be a real difference maker to a college program, on both sides of the floor, over the next few seasons. It just needs to be the right fit for both parties.
