MBCA Small College Showcase Team 4 Evals

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the members of Team No. 4 from the Missouri Basketball Coaches Small College Showcase, which was held in Columbia.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_3747.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-692673" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='519446' first='Anna' last='Parker'] (South Iron): The 5'4" 2024 point guard was impressive at the showcase as she used her speed and quickness to impact games at both ends of the court. She was a good on-ball defender who moved her feet well and hawked the ball for steals. When she's in the game, the tempo increases as she pushes the ball at every opportunity. She creates off the dribble well and she got downhill into the lane for layups. She also had a nice float game in the lane.     *****   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_3748.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-692674" width="311" height="233" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='980379' first='Clara' last='Williams'] (Tipton): A 5'7" 2026 guard who attacks the basket well and she was able to touch the paint very often on dribble penetration. She has good speed and she stayed low on the dribble to get where she wanted to go. She also shot the ball well from 3-point range. She played the passing lanes well on defense and she was also in the right spot to grab offensive rebounds.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_3749.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-692679" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='690379' first='Malia' last='Stolte'] (Hannibal): A 5'6" 2026 point guard who distributes the ball well and she kept the offense moving with her good passing skills. She did a good job of turning the corner and getting downhill on the drive, where she could finish with a bucket or a trip to the free throw line.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_3750.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-692684" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='525612' first='Addie' last='Hotchkiss'] (Staley): A 5'8" 2024 guard who is a solid offensive player on and off the ball. She's physically strong and she scored on some tough takes to the basket. She played through contact well to get herself to the free throw line. She can hit the 3-pointer off the catch and she was very effective at getting into the lane for the pull up jumper.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_3751.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-692689" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='767787' first='Mya' last='Pflasterer'] (Elsberry): A 5'9" 2025 forward who was impressive at the showcase with her aggressive style of play with the ball. She was strong on the drive and she did a good job of playing off of two feet when she got into the lane. She has a nice shooting touch inside, whether it was on a runner or when she used the glass. She was also getting putbacks on the offensive boards.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_3752.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-692691" /></figure>   Madison Queathem (Montgomery County): A 5'6" 2024 guard who was a good hustler on the defensive end as she used her quick hands to hawk the ball. She was also good at digging down and getting strip steals from unsuspecting inside players. She was able to use her body well to create contact when she drove to the basket and she could hit the 3-pointer off the catch.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_3753.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-692692" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='302787' first='Sydney' last='Compton'] (Palmyra): The 5'11" 2025 forward is a versatile playmaker who can operate at several spots on the floor and is equally effective with either hand when shooting the basketball. She makes the right play, whether she's hitting the open teammate with a pass or when she attacks the basket from the high post. She is very good as a roller on the pick and roll and she is a very active rebounder.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_3754.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-692693" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='194416' first='Emma' last='Daniels'] (Owensville): A 2024 point guard who made excellent use of her speed and quickness in the open court. She had a quick first step to beat defenders to score on slicing drives into the lane. She could also create her own shot with a variety of escape moves. She was hitting the pull up jumper on the move.
