NRV Storm has a lot of underrated and fun players to watch. I highlighted some of their players in part one of my impressive July performers. I was close to mentioning Sara Larios in that one, but with her performances last weekend, she’s undeniable. Sara is a terrific shooter, and she showed that all weekend. She also had a 20-point performance and a few other excellent ones. Her passing is a solid part of her game as well.
Daniya Brown Daniya Brown 5’7″ | CG Bishop O’Connell | 2025 State VA had about as good of a shooting performance as you will see last weekend. She had 34 points and knocked down 7 of her 11 threes in that game. I last saw Daniya Brown Daniya Brown 5’7″ | CG Bishop O’Connell | 2025 State VA play for Bishop O’Connell at DMVlive, and what impressed me was her shooting ability and her movement without the ball. She moves like a shooter, and it shows when she gets good looks that she usually converts.
Sanaa Moore Sanaa Moore 5’6″ | SG Henrico | 2025 State VA had a bunch of monster performances last weekend. She knocked down at least 3 threes in every game and capped the weekend off with a masterful 41-point performance with 7 threes. Sanaa’s shot looks nice, with no wasted motion. She can shoot off the dribble and as a catch and shooter. She is one of the best shooters in the state and has offensive ability for days.
Highlights
Jemma Eleby Jemma Eleby 5’11” | PF Catholic | 2025 State VA has been fantastic for Boo Williams. Jemma is versatile on offense. She does great work in the paint using her physicality and skill. Jemma also has a good post-game and can knock down open 3s. You can play her at wing or as a forward, and she will give you some scoring at either position.
Over the past month, I’ve talked a lot about Sabrina Anderson Sabrina Anderson 5’8″ | PG Potomac School | 2027 State VA ; if you watch her, you’ll know why. She plays two years up, still plays heavy minutes, and is one of her team’s most significant contributors. She competed defensively and played way beyond her years. Sabrina knocked down shots and handled the ball like she always does. She is a special player to watch!
