There may not be a better scorer in NOVA than Sabrina Anderson. Sabrina is a true three-level scorer, and she was extremely efficient this year. Sabrina has next-level range and had a 50/40/90 year for Potomac School. She is more of a PG, but her ability off the ball as a shooter enables her to be played off the ball as a two. She is a special 1v1 scorer, and she is a tough shot maker who knows how to get to her spots. She was first-team all-state and 1st-team all-conference on a very good Potomac School team.

Sabrina had an outstanding regular season, finishing at 57% from the field, 41% from three, and 92% from the free throw line — an elite 50-40-90 split rarely seen at any level. She finishes smoothly around the basket, mixing in up-and-under layups and spin moves while embracing contact to earn and-1 opportunities. Sabrina needs very little space to get her shot off, consistently knocking down pull-ups in the mid-range and showing deep range from several steps beyond the arc. She also brings relentless hustle, never hesitating to dive on the floor for loose balls, adding winning plays that don’t always show up in the box score.

was this team’s only real source of offense. I loved what she did early, playing off the ball, and obviously, with someone as good as she was, being face-guarded a lot. Sabrina was good in the second half, creating 1v1, and she did well getting to her mid-range and the rim. Sabrina has a move where she gets deep in the paint and fades to her right to create space, and it’s tough to stop. Even in a loss, Sabrina showed her high level of quality, and she is undoubtedly one of the top guards in the DMV.

Sabrina showed off some great shooting. She showed confidence dribbling down court and stepping into the three after crossing the midline. She hit three’s from the corner and was able to drive and finish with contact. Defensively she was able to force turnover with one notable play where she picked the ballhandler in the backcourt and went in for the clean layup.
