I mean, it is a billion degrees outside. If you’re not in the gym or watching video, what else are you gonna be doing really? So, here we go!

I’m a big fan of an athlete’s highlight reel being mostly defense. Trust me, as scouts, we see A LOT of players who can score it. We also see A LOT of players who put forth absolutely no effort on the defensive end. That ain’t TT! She is a defensive beast. She has quick feet to stay in front of any opposing ball handler and even quicker hands to rack up the turnovers. Once she has the ball, she shows the speed in the open court to amass a lot of points in transition. Oh, by the way, Perry can also hit the three. She’s a great teammate and a really good all-around player. Coaches looking to shore up their 2024 class need to take a good hard look at Teairra “TT” Perry!

Another Royal Legacy player with a very similar style is Addi Ferguson. She may not be the most explosively athletic player on the court, but she will probably have spent the most time in the gym of anybody out there. She is a gym rat in a good way and it shows in her ability to read a defense and make plays that other defenders don’t. She is heart and hustle personified. Addi finishes well in transition and can shoot it when called upon. She’s got good handles and very good speed. Addison is a fun prospect to watch on tape and I’m very much looking forward to seeing her and her squad play in person again soon!
Ady is a baller, y’all. Like a “I have to make sure I get down to Norman to catch a game this year” level baller. She’s silky with the handles. Can stop-and-pop. Score from all three levels. Everything. Best of all, she’s gonna outwork every single person on the court all game long. She recently picked up her first offer from UTPB and I think that plenty more will start rolling in soon. Ady is going to stand out on any court that she is on because she just does it all. She is one of those players that is going to be gathering coaches to her court at every grassroots tournament and most likely have a lot of college coaches, and me, heading out to see the Tigers play this season!

Speaking of ballers, don’t sleep on this kid from Blanchard either. She can slash. She can shoot. She can pass it. She’s got a lot of tools in her bag. Based on her recent Tweets, she’s also got a little swag to go along with it.
I took over a month off to cut you girls some slack, tell a friend to tell a friend SHE’S BACK!!! @ok_royallegacy @roos_hoops @USAOWBB @TFNsRun4Roses @PrepGirlsHoops @CoachWalk_23 pic.twitter.com/mrIWvYn7Xj

After recovering from a broken foot, she is back with a vengeance and letting everyone know. A great teammate and friend, Reese has worked hard to come back and finish out this grassroots season with her OK Royal Legacy team. As I said, she is a baller, but more than that, Reese Carpenter Reese Carpenter 5’6″ | CG Blanchard | 2024 State OK has a ton of heart and even more love for the game.

The first thing you notice when watching video of Lyndee is that this young lady is money from behind the arc. She is long and athletic and easily rises up over defenders with a nice, quick release. She also stands out on video thanks to her 100% effort in every single clip. It makes sense why she was the conference offensive player of the year as a junior. I should also add that the small school star is a softball and track athlete and I don’t need to tell you how much I like that. She is tough and brings that mentality to the court. I can’t wait to get up to Afton this season and see Mikesell shoot the lights out in person!
