As Hybl posted on Twitter following her junior season “Thankful for two new knees!”, she’s had an eventful high school career. Most of her junior high school season was wiped out due to her second major knee injury. But she was able to make a late return to the court. Setting the stage for a strong spring for the crafty lead guard. She’s been rewarded with collegiate offers for her perseverance in battling back from injury. And fingers crossed, a healthy and productive senior year at Norman.

First it is great to see this young lady on the court and playing ball. A smart solid point guard that is the floor leader for her team. She will be asked to be that floor general for a young team due to heavy graduation. An excellent shooter that does not need much space to get off the 3-point shot. A true point guard that got her young team and set before running the sets. One of those guards that is the extension of the coach on the court. Again, great qualities you are looking for in that Point Guard position. Ady has just received an offer today as this article is being released.

Ady is one of the better PG that I have seen all summer. My concept of a true PG is one that can score like a shooting guard but then can also run the team with control. She can shoot, score, pass, defend and get her teammates involved. Impressive was the ability to read the defense as if she was setting them up for the next pass. Not surprised that she already has several offers and I expect there will be more to come.

Ady is stepping into a big time role in Norman this season as she will, more than likely, be running the point for a very, very good basketball team coached by the formidable Frankie Parks. If anyone thought she wasn’t ready to run an offense coached by one of the brightest minds in the state and featuring the best player in the state, then they should have been there to see her handle a thrown together team with no practice time. Ady guided the team more deftly than could be expected in the situation and got plenty of buckets to boot. She also defended at a level higher than almost anyone in attendance. Hybl is a Division-I prospect and by the end of this high school season, I think everyone will know.

Ady is a baller, y’all. Like a “I have to make sure I get down to Norman to catch a game this year” level baller. She’s silky with the handles. Can stop-and-pop. Score from all three levels. Everything. Best of all, she’s gonna outwork every single person on the court all game long. She recently picked up her first offer from UTPB and I think that plenty more will start rolling in soon. Ady is going to stand out on any court that she is on because she just does it all. She is one of those players that is going to be gathering coaches to her court at every grassroots tournament and most likely have a lot of college coaches, and me, heading out to see the Tigers play this season!

lit up the court with her shooting in her first game, as she knocked down multiple three-pointers. I counted three, but it is very possible that I missed some too. She showed to have a quick release, which helps her get her shot off. Despite only being 5’5, she was able to get multiple rebounds. Two of her offensive rebounds led to second chance points. Outside of shooting and rebounding, she showed flashes of being a playmaker. One play that I remember was that she was doubled around the mid-range area towards the baseline. She remained composed as she delivered a beautiful pass along the baseline to a cutting teammate from the weakside. This resulted in two points for her team and a memorable play for us. She is only a freshman, so it will be exciting seeing the potential that she has moving forwards. It should be something to keep an eye on.
