Jahnke’s versatility is rare, and watching someone at 6-1 or 6-2 create havoc at the top of a 1-3-1 full-court press and can defend the rim at a high level at the 15u level. The 4A state champion from St. Michael Albertville is a kid whose best ability is that there isn’t a place you can put her on the floor where she won’t find a place to excel. Her physical profile, skill, athleticism, and mentality make her more than an intriguing prospect. She’s someone coaches at the D1 level will love.
Adaline Sheplee Adaline Sheplee 6'2" | CG Rice Lake | 2026 State WI
This past weekend, Sheplee played the best she’d played all summer. Sheplee stands at about 6-2 or 6-3 but is the best athlete on the floor, no matter who she plays in the Midwest. The other thing that stood out to me was how well she created off the dribble. She nearly got two power-five level kids to trip over their feet trying to stay in front of her, and you won’t find many kids who can do that. I’ve been a massive fan of her game since I first saw her last summer, and she didn’t do anything to make me think of her otherwise.
Kylie Butler Kylie Butler 5'7" | CG Argyle | 2026 State WI
I’d never seen Butler before Friday evening at Shakopee. The one thing that stood out above all else was her passing. Her Purple Aces group loved to throw passes down the floor off defensive rebounds, but Butler can throw 70-foot passes and lay them into her teammate’s hands like an elite quarterback. She had a rough game shooting the ball, but that felt like a one-off. I also loved her composure after she took relatively cheap shots from the opposing team and kept plucking away.
Madisyn Berggren Madisyn Berggren 5'8" | SF West De Pere | 2025 State WI
The West De Pere guard is a high-level shooter and does an excellent job making quick reads on the perimeter. She made four or five three-pointers but also showed something in attacking closeouts. I liked her confidence in attacking the rim and finishing with a floater around the basket, and she’s a nice piece to utilize for her floor spacing and quick decision-making. Berggren has a significant opportunity for her this coming season at West De Pere.
