Mount Mansfield Union H.S. has put a solid group of schools together and thrown them in the mixer. Check out a few standouts from this past week!

[player_tooltip player_id='630359' first='Delilah' last='Locher'], 5'7 G - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2026

Locher's leadership and facilitation at the 1 are crisp as ever; she's the most communicative on the floor, has a great sense of tempo, and her decision making is consistently wise. Delilah was cutting up the fullcourt press and making plays with crafty dimes. Moreover, her shot was falling, and her defensive awareness was quite disruptive. Delilah's a true two-way floor general.

[player_tooltip player_id='594763' first='Marlie' last='Bushey'], 5'10 G/W - Milton H.S. Class of 2026

Marlie was smooth as butter out there. Bushey let the game flow, and in doing so, she made a ton of simple, high-IQ plays. First off, her defense created a ton of offense, and she pushed the tempo off of steals + boards to make plays in the open court. Bushey's vision as a passer was a couple rotations ahead of the defense and her shot was falling inside and out. Easy does it.

[player_tooltip player_id='630342' first='Cassie' last='Boissoneault'], 5'8 G - Lamoille Union H.S. Class of 2026

It was a drive and dish clinic! Cassie punctured the second layer and made play after play, finishing around the rim and dropping dimes to the bigs on the blocks. Boissoneault's facilitation against ball pressure and playmaking were obvious, as was her gritty defense and constant hustle for 50/50s. Cassie brought the heat on both sides of the rock.

[player_tooltip player_id='496182' first='Ruby' last='Dasaro'], 5'8 G - BFA St. Albans Class of 2024

Absolutely relentless, Ruby brought the grit and grind to the gym. Dasaro's tough on-ball pressure forced opponents to make difficult plays time and time again. Additionally, Ruby hit the glass and collected steals, immediately pushing tempo and attacking the cup. Her pressure on the rim was constant as she finished inside and drew FTs, plus, her jumper looks crisp as ever. A two-way dynamo.

[player_tooltip player_id='645777' first='Bella' last='Schultz Mitchell'], 5'10 W/F - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2025

One of VT's best swiss-army knives, Bella was up to her usual work. Schultz-Mitchell often defended the other team's best player regardless of position, often disrupting the opponents offensive flow both on the individual level and the team level. Moreover, she reeled in tons of boards, forced TOs, and got out in the open court. Her two-level scoring has sharpened, and her handle has too.

Annika Redmond, 5'9 W - Essex H.S. Class of 2024

With her hustle running the floor and finishing around the rim, Annika ended up leading EHS in scoring. Redmond applied tough ball pressure and rotated well in EHS' fullcourt press which culminated in multiple turnovers. In turn, Annika ran transition lanes hard and converted at the cup with serious efficiency. It was an open court clinic.

Colleen Sonnick, 5'11 F - Essex H.S. Class of 2027

The southpaw has an intriguing skillset. Her post work and ability are clear cut. She has moves on the block, nice passing out of the post, and she rebounds + protects the rim naturally. Yet she's developed a handle solid enough to push the break and she showed a slashers touch from the wing + a jumper that's stretching out to 3. An impressive modern 3/4 with nice size.
