[player_tooltip player_id='446535' first='Breya' last='Montague'], 5'9 G - Essex H.S. Class of 2024

A natural orchestrator, Breya put in a ton of work to get the offense primed. Montague handled ball pressure nicely and picked apart the defense with her court vision. On her slashes, Breya punctured the paint with apparent ease and finished inside or kicked it out to spot-up shooters. Her ability to control the tempo of the game shined through.

Dieuna Beynnon, 5'4 G - Burlington H.S. Class of 2026

Dieuna provided some much-needed aid to a limited Milton bench and in doing so, brought an added element to the MHS cause. Beynnon's on-ball defense in fullcourt pressure and pnr situations was exceptionally executed. And with the ball in her hands, Dieuna pushed tempo, fed teammates, and knocked down open looks. Dieuna's two-way game was full of selfless play and crisp decision making.

[player_tooltip player_id='446534' first='Bianca' last='Williams'], 5'11 G/W - Essex H.S. Class of 2024

It took some time for Bianca to find rhythm, likely due to the fact that she was at Run 4 the Roses in Louisville for the past week and had probably just gotten back. Regardless, Williams found her flow and got up to her usual antics. She hit the glass and brought the pressure defensively, and as EHS made a late game run, Bianca dropped in numerous crucial buckets to inch closer to a W. Solid work.

Rowan Butler, 5'10 G/W - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2025

It looks like Rowan grew 3-4 inches over the last couple months; she's basically as tall as anyone out there. With her newfound length, Butler's ability to rebound the rock, get in passing lanes and disrupt offenses has blossomed. In addition, Rowan's off-ball movement and snappy passing greased MMU's offense. I'm excited to see her game evolve.

Maddex Percy, 5'4 G - Lamoille Union H.S. Class of 2027

A cognizant guard with a natural feel for the game, Maddex made the basketball play repeatedly. Her ability to handle ball pressure and facilitate were evident, as was her off-ball movement as she cut and screened to open up herself and others. Furthermore, those instincts transferred to the defensive side of the ball. Percy's help positioning was consistent and her on-ball work measured. I like her innate understanding of the game.

Mesa Long, 5'10 F - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2027

Mesa's interior work jumped out immediately. Long worked to lock down the paint and she rebound the rock on both sides of the glass, securing possessions and second chance buckets. And when she hit an outlet, Mesa ran the floor hard and collected points in transition off of pure hustle. Mesa's feel around the paint and decision making in the post were quite impressive for an incoming freshman.
