Bonner has always been a sort of “human highlight reel”. What better place to put her electric game on display than the largest showcase event in her home state? Bonner is a playmaker by every standard of the word and has some of the nastiest dribble combo moves that you’ll see in the midwest.
Highlights
Sakalas deserves more eyes on her game and the Top 250 would be the perfect spot for that to happen. She has a terrific mid range game and does some of best work off the baseline. From there, she can attack off the bounce as well as put up a smooth jumper. Sakalas has a nose for the ball off the rim and will find put back buckets.
Pazitka has some really nice tools to her game and she deserves to show them off at the Top 250. She plays angles and passing lanes very well on the defensive end of the floor. Pazitka is very adept at reading the passer, stepping in the passing lane and tipping or stealing the ball. She’s a physical player that attacks the game.
Andrews is, in my opinion, somehow still underrated. She has the ability to be an electric shooter and scorer. Quite frankly, Andrews is a game changer. She has volleyball line range on her jumper and her pull up is nearly impossible to defend. We’d all like Andrews to put her skills on display in Grand Rapids.
Thomas is another player that I think deserves some more credit and/or publicity around her game. Thomas’ is a very skilled player that also carries a huge upside. She has nice length on the perimeter and she uses it well on the defensive end. Thomas is a multi level scorer that can shoot over top of smaller guards.
Putman could end up being a huge addition to a program at the next level. She’s been a bit under the radar but she definitely turned some heads this spring. Putman has a high upside as a post player. She is very controlled, balanced and strong under the rim. Putman can score in traffic and is always good for a put back bucket.
