Sabine Brueck Sabine Brueck 5'8" | CG North Country Union | 2025 State NewE , 5’8 G – Lone Wolf Athletics/North Country Union H.S. Class of 2025
Last year’s GPOY is one of the best two-way players around. Her gunking up of driving lanes, jumping of passing lanes, and suffocating on-ball defense contributes to an incredible amount of offense, both for herself and for others in transition. In the halfcourt she’s a quick decision maker; she hits open 3s, slashes with a great first step, and makes the simple play to feed others. Easy does it.
Macie Stagner Macie Stagner 5'7" | CG Springfield | 2025 State NewE , 5’9 G – Lone Wolf Athletics/Springfield H.S. Class of 2025
With the ability to control the game, Macie’s two-way impact is hard not to notice. Stagner’s defense on and off-ball is smart and anticipatory, often taking away rhythm and creating open court opportunities. With her offensive facilitation, Macie puts a lot of pressure on defenses. She can score it in myriad ways and her sense of defensive rotations often results in wise passing ahead of the D. So smart.
Bree McDonald Bree McDonald 5'6" | PG Burlington | 2025 State NewE , 5’6 G – Blueprint Basketball/Burlington H.S. Class of 2025
A dynamic playmaker with the handle to break defenders down, Bree brings a zest to the floor. McDonald’s ability to attack the defense and force rotations is apparent considering she knocks down looks at all 3-levels. Her footwork is precise, allowing her to pivot out of pressure in the second layer and find others for easy looks. With her on-ball defense, she’s tough to get around, and she can poke the ball and go the other way. Solid.
Cassidy Kittredge Cassidy Kittredge 5'10" | SG ST Johnsbury | 2025 State NewE , 5’11 G/W – St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2025
Super fundamental, Cassidy’s a gluey offensive threat with a 3-level scoring touch. Kittredge hits open shots at a high clip and can create a little too. Yet the ball doesn’t stick; she makes quick decisions to force the defense into action, often resulting in a dominoes effect as she attacks advantages and finds open teammates. Versatile defensively too, her length is bothersome as she covers multiple positions, hits the glass, and sparks the break.
Bella Schultz-Mitchell, 5’11 W/F – Blueprint Basketball/Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2025
It’s Bella whose stock has rose the most lately. Schultz-Mitchell is a dynamic 3/4 swiss-army knife who can do some of everything. Her defense, both on and off-ball, is highly disruptive, and she often matches up with the other team’s best scorer whether that’s inside or out. In addition, her offensive arsenal is sharpening as her 3-ball has flourished alongside her passing and off-ball play. You know what you’re getting with Bella.
Sophia Rockwood Sophia Rockwood 5'7" | CG Windsor | 2025 State NewE , 5’7 G – Lone Wolf Athletics/Windsor H.S. Class of 2025
A savvy combo-guard with a gamechanger’s mindset, Rockwood brings it every time she’s on the floor. Sophia facilitates well and naturally creates offense for herself and others. Yet she’s a smart off-ball player too who can hurt teams with her cutting. On the other end, Sophia brings a pride and tenacity defensively whether it’s in the fullcourt of halfcourt. Two-way talent with Sophia.
