Clare Coyle Commits To Furman

<p>Another name in the Class of 2024 has announced their collegiate basketball future.</p>

<p>The latest comes from Bishop Kenny 6-1 rising senior power forward [player_tooltip player_id='248345' first='Clare' last='Coyle'], who announced on her social media platforms she will be attending Furman University.</p>

<p>Coyle chose Furman over Central Arkansas, College Of Charleston, George Washington, Jacksonville State, North Florida and several others. Coyle is coming off a junior season where she averaged 10.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game helping lead the Crusaders to their second state runner-up in the last three seasons.</p>

<p>During the Grassroots Circuit, Coyle played for [program_tooltip program_id='713109' first='East' last='Coast United'] where she was a combo forward and has continued to expand her offensive game into being a viable three-level scoring threat. On the defensive side, Coyle plays with a ton of length where her ability to rebound and block shots at a high level. </p>

<p>Coyle brings a ton of energy that can be contagious out on the floor, as she makes her teammates better as well setting them up for great shots. She plays with a ton of versatility where you can see her defending out on the perimeter against guards or down in the paint against posts.</p>

<p>During the high school season, Coyle plays with electrifying players such as 6-0 senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='217663' first='Sydney' last='Roundtree'], 5-9 senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='248348' first='Riley' last='Talbert'], 5-6 junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='434835' first='Reese' last='Mayer'] and 5-10 freshman guard Katelynn Crawley.</p>
