Orlando was filled with talent in the back half of July, we take a look at some of the top guards in the class of 2025 that performed well.
Sienna Astorino Sienna Astorino 5'3" | SG Horizon | 2024 State FL ( J Sizzle 2025 Howard) 5’4 Point Guard – Class of 2025
Astorino is a small guard that has great range and is a scorer. She was the best player on the court in multiple games knocking down multiple 3s and playing the role of playmaker with the ball in her hands. She did a good job pushing the tempo, looking to play in transition. When left open, she shot the ball well from 3 off the catch as well as put the ball to the floor showcasing a 1-2 dribble pull up as well as the ability to get to the rim!
Adejah Corbin (Tre Mann Elite Bradley) 5’6 Guard – Class of 2025
Corbin was a new face for me as she is a long, athletic guard that played well in the open floor. Given space in the half court, Corbin was a very effective penetrator, getting to the rim attacking off the bounce! She wants to score every time she touches the ball and does a good job using her handle and explosiveness to get by her defenders!
Sofia Duque Sofia Duque 5'4" | CG Horizon | 2025 State FL ( J Sizzle 2025 Howard) 5’4 Shooting Guard – Class of 2025
Duque has a very similar game to Sienna Astorino Sienna Astorino 5'3" | SG Horizon | 2024 State FL but is more of a shooting guard than a point guard. She has 3-point range and shoots a high percentage when left open. She stays shot ready from the wing and the baseline and is a threat with space and time.
V’Davrielle Johnson (Impact Elite 2025) 5’7 Guard – Class of 2025
Johnson may be one of the most athletic players in the country. At 5’7, she can fly all over the court and impact the game as an offensive rebounder, a shot blocker, a rim runner, and a penetrator. Her athleticism is her strongest asset, and her skill set continues to improve every time I see her play. Her body looks like that of a college player and she has a huge upside!
Daya Shelton Daya Shelton 5'9" | SF Lake Mary | 2025 State FL ( J Sizzle 2025 Howard) 5’9 Wing – Class of 2025
Shelton is a bigger guard who can play the shooting guard and wing spot. She was the first or second best player in multiple games and plays with a feistiness and a strong competitiveness. She has the ability to score off the dribble but her strongest attribute is her to knock down open 3s.
Madeline O’Berski (Impact Elite 2025) 5’10 Wing – Class of 2025
If Johnson is one of the most athletic players in the class of 2025, O’Berski may be one of the most skilled players in the class of 2025. She has a strong, versatile skill set with a high basketball IQ and excellent court vision. O’Berski is a great decision maker who can play multiple positions and plays with great speed and tempo.
