IQ, length and confidence are on full display when you watch Madison on the hardwood. Whether it is with St. John Vianney or Philly Rise, Madison makes her presence known. She is no one trick pony but when you watch Madison you are watching a player that expects to make every 3-pointer she takes. She catches ready to shoot and shoots with confidence. Her length allows her to get shots off over tough closeouts. On a nationally ranked St. John Vianney squad she was 2nd on the team with 43 3-pointers as a freshman and I don’t see that number going anywhere but up from there.
Katie is in range when she gets over half court. She is absolutely deadly if you give her too much space. As confident as they come, Katie moves to spots where she can easily get her shot off. She plays with patience knowing that either her Red Bank Catholic or NJ Shoreshots teammates know where to find her when she creates space. Quick release and confident stroke. She finished 2nd on her Red Bank Catholic team with 41 3-pointers as a freshman. Defenses better make sure they know where this young lady is on the floor in her sophomore season.
Don’t give her space. She patiently gets into her shot whether she’s wide open or if a defender is flying at her. Once she gets it with some room it is going up and she is confident. NJ Demons or Red Bank Regional they are looking to get her open shots at the arc. Her 46 3-pointers as a freshman were 36 more than the next closest Bucs teammate. As good as she is she keeps finding ways to get away from the D for open looks. Her production is tough to hide so expect all eyes on her as a sophomore.
Another big-time shooter from the NJ Shoreshots . Doesn’t shoot with the range of teammate Katie Liggio Katie Liggio 5’9″ | SG Red Bank Catholic | 2026 State NJ but she is equally adept at getting to good spots on the court and catching with that little hop to get right into her shot. She hit 33 3-pointers and was the 2nd leading scorer for a 22-6 Trinity Hall team as a freshman. Those numbers should go up in her sophomore year as she continues to be a go to scorer for Trinity Hall.
A lot of length and a confident stroke are what stick out when you watch Grace. She moves around the 3-point line to find open spots and I saw her open in the corner a lot for her NJ Rise team. She toes the line so she can get right into her shot. Right around 6’0″ tall with a high release on her shot, she is tough to contest. On a crowded Trinity Hall roster, she should find more time as a sophomore after displaying a smooth stroke on the AAU circuit all summer.
