URI is getting a fearless shooter with unlimited range. Those who have watched Katie over the years know that there is no moment that is too big for her and she is always willing to take the big shot. Just as comfortable spotting up in the half court as she is pulling up from deep in transition, Katie also has the ability to attack the rim. When the defense over commits to guarding the arc, she takes advantage, driving the paint and creating contact and finishing in a multitude of ways.

She had the 3 ball clicking today; her bread & butter shot. One of few players who can make the transition 3 look like a high percentage shot. Quick snap release. Locked in two-way game; played 94 feet and was able to both execute on offense and defend from the opponent’s basket & back to her own. She applied suffocating pressure up near the perimeter and at times, left the ball-handler totally stuck, unable to move or make a play.
