Vickery proved to be incredibly productive as an incoming freshman, boasting a valuable in and out game while standing at 6’1. Capable playing 3-5, Vickery boasts excellent touch around the rim, capable of contributing an efficient rate of ambidextrous finishes around the rim. The forward is a knockdown shooter within the arc, not only shot ready off the catch but confident enough to take and make attempts through an immediate contest. She even stretched out the floor with a few threes off the catch, typically coming from the corner or the wing. Defensively, she used her height and reach to be an impactful rebounder, possessing great timing to get up higher than most opponents from this event. Her impact garnered her an offer from the University of Denver.
Jade Brown Jade Brown 6'2" | SF Cheyenne East | 2026 CO – Cheyenne East – 2026
Brown will be an intriguing defensive minded prospect to follow over the coming years, boasting a wide reach and high motor. Standing right around 6′ tall, the forward is a wiry defender who can match up with three positions (2-4). Her quick hips and long arms make her a difficult opponent to attack, capable of quickly recovering and swarming the opponent should they pick up the ball. Her defensive energy put the opponents into tough shot attempts, allowing her a greater volume of defensive rebounds. Another area worth noting was her footwork in the post, capable of getting to turnaround pivots or up and unders to score around the immediate contest. Her continued growth as a perimeter playmaker will be highly intriguing, given her soft touch around the rim.
Austin Duncan Austin Duncan 6'2" | PF Kent Denver | 2026 State CO – Kent Denver – 2026
Duncan was an active defensive prospect, maximizing her 6′ frame to deter opposing drivers. The incoming sophomore was a very mobile player for her height, capable of matching up with a variety of opposing forwards. She did well seeking box outs, ultimately grabbing a high volume of defensive rebounds to eventually push the pace on the opposite end. Offensively, Duncan brought value as a driver while attacking from the elbows or three point line. Her quick acceleration offers value to attack downhill quickly, capable of finishing through contact or around contests.
Isabelle Johnston – Arapahoe – 2026
Johnston proved to be an effective shooter off the catch, knocking down an efficient rate even through incoming contests. At roughly 5’10, Johnston boasted enough size to score above contests from smaller guards, taking advantage of matchups. Defensively, she did a great job rotating in a timely manner, getting up to swat away drivers on multiple occasions.
Lainey Portman – Heritage Hall (OK) – 2024
Portman was effective in a variety of areas, most effective as a facilitator and shotmaker. The 5’10 wing was active pushing the pace through outlet passes, keeping her eyes up at all times to set up her teammates during scrimmage. While in the half court, Portman was a knockdown shooter off the catch, confident in letting it fly with her feet set. Defensively, she rotated early for help side defense, boasting a wide enough reach to impact potential drivers.
