Here I take a look at some of the standout Arizona prospects that I was able to watch.
Layla Franklin Layla Franklin 6'0" | PF Dream City Christian | 2025 State AZ Dream City Christian (SW Premier 16 Champions League)
Franklin is an aggressive forward that likes taking the ball strong into the teeth of the defense. She can also confidently pull up and knock down the mid range jump shot. She will be one to track as far as progress goes.
Ava Schooler Ava Schooler 5'9" | CG Sandra Day O'Connor | 2027 State AZ Sandra Day O’Connor (SW Premier 15 Champions League)
The incoming freshman is a crafty ball handler who plays at a very good pace. She is aggressive and shoots the ball with good rotation on it. She could be one of the better 2027 girls this upcoming season.

Xavier (Sports Academy Swish 17U EYBL)
One of the top performers of the event, Miller was clicking on all cylinders. Her three ball was falling, mid-range game working and she showed the ability to facilitate when out on the fast break.

This was my first time seeing Pautz and she didn’t disappoint. She showed a nice offensive package in that she was comfortable in scoring a few different ways. She’s an active rebounder on the defensive and offensive end.

Fairfax (SW Premier 16 Champions League)
Buckner was hard to keep out of the paint and once she got downhill, she was a load for the opposition to handle. She handles the ball very well for her size and finishes around the rim. The fact that she’s still 15 years old intrigued quite a few coaches.
Callie Hinder

If Hinder wasn’t blocking shots she was definitely altering them. Her length is something that the offenses had to adjust to. She’s a good rebounder and keeps the ball high and away from smaller players. She has as much upside as anyone in the state

McClintock (SW Premier 16 Champions League)
Perkins continued to solidify her spot as one of the better all-around guards in the state. She has good lateral quickness, active hands on defense and a constant motor. On offense, she can go strong to the cup as well as shoot the perimeter shot very well.
Jocelyn Michelle Chavez

Chavez continued sharpening her point guard skills throughout the weekend. She handled the on-ball pressure very well and was looking to keep her teammates involved. She was still able to maintain her aggressiveness as a scorer.
