These notes are just little comments or concerns about what I think about the players game, live-and-in action, in that moment. Below I am going to highlight five players that I had live notes on during their competitive play on Sunday.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
#657 – Brynlie Simon Brynlie Simon 6'0" | C Jac-Cen-Del | 2027 IN – 6’0 – Forward – Jac-Cen-Del H.S. – N.A. AAU
“Smith is a post player with a good head on her shoulders and good size to go along with that. Someone who can impact a game solely because of her defensive prowess alone, is definitely a player to know going into her freshman year. If she grows a few more inches and expands her game over the next few season, the possibilities are endless.”
#639 – Reagan Huss Reagan Huss 5'11" | SF Northridge | 2027 IN – 5’10 – Forward – Northridge H.S. – IGB AAU
“Athletic player that is a good screener on the ball. Is a lefty that has the ability to step outside the three point line and knock down a jumper or she can post up smaller/weaker defenders who try to matchup with her in the paint. Her mixture of size and shooting ability makes Huss an interesting prospect moving forward.”
#641 – Olivia Hazard – 5’11 – CG – Marquette H.S. – Region Rebels AAU
“Hazzard has a simple yet efficient game. A player that knows her role and plays it to a T on every possession. Not to mention that she is willing to do anything to help her team win. One of those people that there is not task too big or small, as long as it helps her teammates, Hazard is about it.”
#17 – Jordynn Blann Jordynn Blann 5'1" | PG Bedford North Lawrence | 2027 IN – 5’1 – PG/SG – Bedford North Lawrence H.S. – Indiana Pride AAU
“Shooter. Someone who is very good at being ready for the ball and letting it go as she as it hits her hands for a jump shot. Displays uniformed balance and coordination on every attempt that I saw on the day. Blann is also smart enough to know when someone is going to overplay her, giving her a wide-open lane to the middle of the floor.”
#604 – Mya Turner Mya Turner 5'7" | SG Fremont | 2027 IN – 5’7 – PG/SG – Fremont H.S. – OPS 2027 AAU
“Turner is one of those players that just makes it happen. Doesn’t matter what “it” is, Turner is someone who can make something out of nothing and she displayed that on several occasions on Sunday. The mental part of basketball is 80% of it, and Turner excels at the mental parts on the floor while also being somewhat skilled. Definitely a name I’ll remember moving forward.”
