Saniyah walked on to the court ready to go! She hit shot after shot – scoring the first 12 points for her team until the other coach made a much needed adjustment in defending Morrison. — even with the adjustment, Saniyah was able to get to the rim, finish through contact and get to the line. She was 100% from the FT line in the first half. Morrison handles the ball well under pressure and knows how to find the gaps in the defense. Saniyah will have a big junior season with Will Rogers this Fall!
Daneja Agu-White
Daneja Agu-White
Daneja is a player that knows when to attack the basket, when to take the shot and when to make the extra pass. Daneja played unselfish basketball and was a key factor in GT4L’s win on Friday evening. She was able to knock down shots but really shined when getting to the basket and finishing through traffic. Defensively, she is quick and forced numerous turnovers.
Alexa Rowden
Alexa Rowden
Alexa is a skilled guard who gets to her spots in transition and shoots efficiently from deep. She did not shy away from tough defenders and easily made baskets with a hand in her face. Alexa hustles on both ends of the floor and this allowedher many opportunities to score as well as garner numerous defensive stops.
Miri Pickman
Miri Pickman
Miri did alot of the little things that won’t show up on the stat lines but she played with heart and grit! She was able to get to the rim and score a couple of times under the basket but her defensive presence is what truly stood out. Pickman used her length to protect her basket and did well defending the guards around the perimeter.
KaMyra did a great job keeping her team locked in. She handled the ball well and was poised when getting her team in poisiton to run plays. She did not allow the defense to change her pace on offense but definitely flustered her opponents when she was on the defensive end.
