Ameriah Moore-5’9 G (Competitive Edge 2026)
Moore has the right nickname, “CHAMP” and not only is she a #D1Lock, there is no telling how high her stock will rise because she not only puts in a lot of work off the court, she shows on the court. I gave her the cover for a reason and if you notice the intensity in her face, that should give even a novice them picture yet here’s another snapshot. She’s long and athletic, which will always be the base, she plays the passing lane as well as on the ball defense but she also rebounds and can handle the ball after to go coast to coast and score. She also scores off the dribble, the midrange is solid yet her court vision needs to be mentioned as well
Ryland Reeves-5’6 G (Competitive Edge 2026)
Reeves is a “long and athletic guard” which is also the base and I enjoyed watching her create her shot under pressure to attack the rim as well as score off the dribble, solid body control on her finishes, even after contact. She shot it well in the halfcourt yet her pull-up jumper in transition was also nice and when you factor in she could drop it from deep, that’s a big plus
Kinsley McClaughlin-5’5 G ( EYG 2027)
McGlaughlin also showed she could create her shot under pressure and knock it down with a hand in her face. Her pull-up jumper in transition also looked good, and so did her using a deceptive first step to score off the dribble, yes after contact included. She played solid defense in the set but she also read the floor and played the passing lane several times
Hallie Jewel-5’5 G ( EYG 2027)
Jewel looked like a gem creating her shot while being defended because of her creating separation and using a quick release. Her “catch and shoot” from outside was also effective as she showed she could nail it from mid to long-range yet the hammer didn’t stop there as she did a pretty good job defending on the ball. She also scored off the dribble, attacking with either hand
Ava Womack-5’8 G/F ( Team Lex Tarheels 2027 JR 3SSB)
Womack was another long and athletic player that stood out as she showed a variety of intangibles. She has good timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots, she also played the passing lane and scored after the steal. Same results after rebounding and going coast to coast yet she also saw the floor and made good decisions in transition. Inside the paint, she elevated over defenders to score, and she also scored on putbacks
Zaria Howard-5’9 F ( Team Lex Tarheels 2027 JR 3SSB)
Howard plays taller than her listed height, yeah I’m dropping #THRO WBA CK but she also showed something else worthy of that hashtag, hands and footwork to score around the basket. She used her body inside the paint on both ends, she rebounded, on both ends and ran the floor, yep on both ends. Her interior defense was solid, she even stepped outside to guard her man
Marilyn Wilkerson-6’3 C (TX Platinum 2027 Lane)
Wilkerson has some pretty good upside because of not only her height but her agility. She moves well laterally to defend, she showed she could score around the basket after contact and she did a good job defending. Her timing was good, she blocked and deflected some shots but her mere presence gave the offensive player something to think about
Lyric Sandlin-5’3 G (TX Platinum 2027 Lane)
Sandlin falls into that other hashtag I love, #sizedontmatter when you can play and she can definitely play. She did a good job creating havoc defensively as her pressure was mothering at times and she also played the passing lane, which I love to see, Her first step and slight HEZ, hesitation, got the defender to lean and that enabled her to score or dish off the dribble, let me add her body control was also nice
