Eva Robertson Eva Robertson 6’3″ | PF Bishop O’Connell | 2025 State VA transferred from Woodson to Bishop O’Connell this summer, and I think it is a perfect move for her. Eva has always been able to use her size well, hauling in rebounds and finishing around the rim. This summer, I’ve seen her get more comfortable dribbling the ball and adding a few moves in the paint to her arsenal. Eva will be paramount for Bishop O’Connell; they’ll need her size and production.
Highlights
At first, Emma Komaily Emma Komaily 5’8″ | SG Woodson | 2025 State VA was your prototypical three-and-d type of player. She is a defensive playmaker and a terrific shooter. As the season went on last year, I saw her put up some big scoring games, and at this point, she is an all-around fantastic basketball player. Emma should have a massive year and will be Woodson’s number 1 option.

Daniya Brown Daniya Brown 5’7″ | CG Bishop O’Connell | 2025 State VA has impressed me this summer. I watched her in June at DMVlive, and she showcased her IQ as a shooter. She took good shots and used her shooting ability to create space for others. Her spot-up shooting is terrific, and she performed tremendously in July for GTS Fusion.
There’s not much you need to say about Emily Hunter Emily Hunter 6’8″ | C TPLS Christian Academy | 2025 State VA . She is 6’7 and newly transferred from Tennessee. She is a double-double machine and someone you can dump the ball down for an easy bucket. She uses her size to alter shots and can disrupt a team’s offense. This is a massive get for TPLS, and Emily is one of the best bigs in Virginia for the 2025 class.

It’s about time Sydney Richardson Sydney Richardson 5’9″ | SG Matoaca | 2025 State VA got a number next to her name. She was arguably the best player last year on a good Matoaca team. Sydney is an outstanding athlete and does well when going downhill to the rim. She gets to the line well and has a good length for a guard. If Sydney can become a consistent jump shooter, you’re looking at a player who will rise in the rankings.
