One interesting aspect of the camp was that Next Level 2025 Carbonell team essentially had all of its members competing at the event.
Prep Girls Hoops scouted that group which featured ranked players from the class of 2025 and a super recruit in the making from the class of 2026.
Paige Corter Paige Corter 5'8" | SF Flinthills | 2025 State KS , 5’8”, SG/SF, Flint Hills
Paige Corter Paige Corter 5'8" | SF Flinthills | 2025 State KS loves playing basketball and it showed at the Elite Camp. She is fundamentally strong in multiple aspects of the game. She’s strong and tough. She is leaned on to score for her high school team but is utilized as a distributor and secondary scorer for her club team. She plays a very disciplined game and Corter is currently ranked No. 56 by Prep Girls Hoops in the Class of 2026.
Maliyah Lansang Maliyah Lansang 5'6" | CG Derby | 2025 State KS , 5’5” CG, Derby
Lansang is a sneaky quick guard who can create space and beat defenders off the dribble. She is a plus ball handler and looked good during the morning drills. She can lead an offense by running the point or can take over as a scorer. Her defensive game really shined during the scrimmage portion of the event. Maliyah leads her club team in tied-up balls. Lansang is currently ranked No. 111 by PGH Kansas.
Katie Evans Katie Evans 5'2" | SG Andovr | 2025 State KS , 5’2”, SG, Andover
To use a hockey phrase Evans can light the lamp. She is a consistent shooter from midrange and from 3-point land. She is a hustle player who is extremely coachable and does not shy away from being a leader among her teammates. She hit a couple of sweet deep jumpers during the scrimmage session of camp. Her size is a deterrent on the defensive end, but she makes up for it with her speed and lateral mobility. Evans is currently ranked No. 94 in the class of 2025.
Makenna Balzer Makenna Balzer 5'8" | CG Trinity Academy | 2025 State KS , 5’8” SG, Trinity Academy
Balzer is a solid shooter who I witnessed cash in on a couple of 3-point shots during the camp. She likes to get out in transition and will create turnovers that lead to fast breaks. She is already a force on defense and could have a larger impact if she improved her upper body strength. Balzer is currently ranked No. 114 among her class of 2025 peers.
Isabel Marley Isabel Marley 5'11" | PF Circle | 2025 State KS , 5’11”, C/PF, Circle
Marley is a space-eater who can block shots on defense. She has a huge wing span and can create her own shot. As a center, she uses her body well to create space. Marley is currently unranked but needs serious consideration for being added when the next updates are made to the class of 2025 rankings.
Macayla Askew Macayla Askew 6'0" | SF Derby | 2026 State KS , 6’0”, C/PF, Derby, ‘26
Askew is all arms and legs and moves like a gazelle. She is a difference-maker on the defensive end. She can block shots and make offensive players change their shots. She is young and raw, but she has a lot of basketball ahead of her to improve. She is a disciplined player for her age. She arguably has the highest ceiling of any player who was competing in Lindsborg.
