Nine Class of 2024 Guards That Are Set for Big HS Seasons

[player_tooltip player_id='221678' first='Kamryn' last='Corporan'] (St. Thomas Aquinas / Team Knight) – 5'5 Guard   Corporan is a very effective penetrator showcasing her quickness and explosiveness off the dribble. She consistently pushed the ball in transition playing downhill and looking to score anytime she had the ball in her hands. On the defensive end she is very active running through passing lanes and applying consistent ball pressure.     [player_tooltip player_id='487612' first='Sienna' last='Dauer'] (IMG Academy / [program_tooltip program_id='713590' first='FGB' last='']) – 5'10 Guard   <figure class="wp-block-image alignleft size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/06/UOjNQOuv_400x400.jpeg?w=400" alt="" class="wp-image-667401" width="256" height="256" /></figure>   Dauer has been one of the class of 2024s biggest stock risters, playing a ton of minutes for a talented IMG Academy squad with a lot of depth and carrying that over to [program_tooltip program_id='713590' first='FGB' last='']. Overall she has a solid all around skill set – she doesn't excel in any one particular area but plays hard and aggressive and serves as an excellent role player. She has good looking perimeter body, is in great shape, and shots a high percentage from the perimeter and has solid handles. The intensity and energy that she played with on both ends of floor for the entire game really stood out.     [player_tooltip player_id='243885' first='Jada' last='Eads'] (Lake Highland Prep / CFE) – 5'7 Guard   Last season Eads transferred from Wekiva to Lake Highland Prep, and served mainly as point guard and a distributor rather than a scorer. A small, quick, and talented guard, Eads is impressive with the ball in her hands. She has excellent open court and 1v1 moves, does not turn the ball over often and consistently pushes the tempo. She had a big summer for CFE and has picked up a number of offers from all over the country!     [player_tooltip player_id='219924' first='Khadee' last='Hession'] (St. Thomas Aquinas / Essence) – 5'5 Guard   <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2020/10/66-Khadee-Hession-1.jpg?w=800" alt="" class="wp-image-208791" width="300" height="197" /></figure>   Hession consistently does her thing, playing solid and consistent on both ends of the floor. Hession is always impressive on the defensive end of the floor, as she always take the most difficult match ups and does a good job containing and shutting down the opposing teams best perimeter player. Hession is always a positive influence when she is on the court, not excelling or standing out in any one particular area but always contributing in a variety of areas and helping lead her team to victory.     [player_tooltip player_id='219925' first='Janessa' last='Kelley'] (Blanche Ely / Team Knight) – 5'9 Guard   Kelley is a left sniper who can really fill it up from deep. She is very rarely quiet on the court as she can fill it up from 3 fast and furious! She is long, athletic and dangerous anytime she is open. She has great form and a quick release with range well beyond the 3-point line.     [player_tooltip player_id='221702' first='Ciniya' last='Moore'] (IMG Academy / [program_tooltip program_id='713590' first='FGB' last='']) – 5'9 Guard   <figure class="wp-block-image alignleft size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/02/Ciniya-Moore-SNP.jpeg?w=854" alt="" class="wp-image-601351" width="129" height="155" /></figure>     Moore is a strong guard, who played limited minutes coming off the bench for a talented IMG squad but should have a bigger role this season. She is a deep 3-point threat with range several feet beyond the 3-point line. With all of IMG's athleticism and talent, Moore has the potential to be a difference maker in her role by helping space the floor and making open shots.     Bri Rivera (Lake Highland Prep / [program_tooltip program_id='715746' first='J' last='Sizzle']s) – 5'7 Guard   Is is very rare for Rivera to struggle from the outside as she is one of the state's top long range bombers and a dangerous threat anytime left open once she crosses half court. She has a strong, solid base with a quick release and great form. She really helps balance the floor as it is hard for teams to help off her because she shoots such a high percentage from 3 when open.     [player_tooltip player_id='248291' first='Kennedy' last='Rosendahl'] (Ponte Vedra / [program_tooltip program_id='715943' first='Southeast' last='United']) – 5'8 Guard   <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/04/20230415_160233-1.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-640582" width="142" height="189" /></figure>   Rosendahl was Ponte Vedra's best player and emotional leader as a Junior and will be even more impactful with another year under her belt. She plays hard and aggressive and is a skilled offensive scorer. Last season I saw her knock down a huge 3-pointer in overtime to help seal her team's victory in a come from behind win at the Insider Exposure Thanksgiving event and while Kennedy and her team were excited, it was also another day at the office. She plays with a ton of confidence and expects to make big shots. At 5'8, she is skilled, has a high IQ, and an efficient and dangerous scorer who can fill it up in a variety of ways.     [player_tooltip player_id='219988' first='Charisse' last='Martin'] (Blanche Ely / [program_tooltip program_id='713590' first='FGB' last='']) – 5'7 Guard   Martin is active and aggressive on both ends of the floor. She is a bigger guard who has a well-rounded offensive game and is a solid defender. She played major minutes for Blanche Ely last season and should see those minutes increase even more this season. She is most effective slashing to the rim going right from the wing and baseline.
