I think she really did step up from a defensive standpoint calling out switches and getting in good defensive stands all over the floor. She showed that she is a good three level scorer getting to the basket at will finishing with either hand. Ailynn was great in the pull up game as well and hitting some big threes in the game as well!
Highlights
Was crafty in transition looking to make the right play each time down when the ball was in her hands. On the transition break Hailey did a great job of recognizing the fast break and would get out to the wing to set up for the transition three point shot. She was absolutely deadly from three point range, one of the better three point shooters in the showcase. It Looks like she has combo gurad ability. I really think that role will grow when she gets older.
A very shifty guard who had defenders on stakes all day! Charisma is very difficult for opponents to match up with. She is truly a scoring point gurad that keeps a tight handle on the ball, and does a nice job of effectively scoring from all three levels. Even at her size she delayed and showed the ability to finish through contact at the rim, knocking down shots in the mid-range and the three!
Out of all the players Mila had the best physical make-up like a college player. Great size for a gurad standing at 5’8 wing long arms with the wing span to match and a nice solid frame! Right now she’s more of a shooting gurad than a combo gurad but I think she can develop into a combo. You can tell her game is young, she shot the ball well and was able to finish at the basket. She has a lot of potential with getting in better shape with more training and playing at a faster pace.
