Gianna Chuffo Gianna Chuffo 5'6" | SG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2025 State NJ – St. Thomas Aquinas (2025) offered by Adelphi
Chuffo has been a standout for St. Thomas Aquinas in recent years for good reason, and she was rewarded accordingly on Aug. 9 with her first collegiate offer from Adelphi.
Last season was her most productive and successful season to date, averaging just over 10.0 PPG for STA with more than a steal a game, nearly two assists a game and more than two rebounds a game. The three-point specialist made her presence beyond the arc felt, hitting 86 threes in 29 games, just under three game and nearly three times as many made threes as she hit in her freshman season.
Zeynep Ozel Zeynep Ozel 5'8" | SG Blair | 2024 State NJ – Blair (2024) offered by Hofstra, Sacred Heart
Another player who we’ve been waiting to get some more love on the recruitment trail, Ozel, the rising senior at Blair, received two offers in two days from Division I schools Hofstra and Sacred Heart.
Blair puts together a tough schedule as an independent in New Jersey, and it’s benefitted the guard immensely, averaging 11.2 PPG in 27 games played along with 3.1 RPG and 3.0 APG. She nearly doubled her three-point output, hitting 52 for the year, which just helped to boost her overall production. We’re excited to see where her perimeter shooting can take her this season.
Harper Felch Harper Felch 5'9" | PG Morris Tech | 2024 State NJ – Morris Tech (2024) unofficial visit to Rochester, Mercyhurst
The Morris Tech forward has been busy on the trail this week as Felch took unofficial visits to both the University of Rochester and Mercyhurst.
What a player she’s become for Morris Tech, really coming into her own last season in a big way. In 25 games, she averaged 17.4 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 3.8 APG, 4.6 SPG and just over half a block a game. The scoring output was insane, with seven 20+ point games to boot, and crazy consistency. Felch is a special talent and more eyes should be on her this season to see what she does as a senior.
Siena Shuster Siena Shuster 5'11" | PF Wayne Hills | 2024 State NJ – Wayne Hills (2024) offered by Marymount
Our last player of the day is Shuster, the Wayne Hills rising senior who earned her first collegiate offer from Marymount on Thursday.
The forward has shined in AAU ball with Jersey Gemz, and it has only gone to back up what she’s been able to do over the past two seasons with the Patriots. She averaged a double-double as a junior with 15.0 PPG and 10.6 RPG, adding more than a block a game and nearly two steals a game defensively. She’s a well-rounded forward with great agility and an excellent feel for the game.
