The list is made up of nearly 400 of the states most talented players. In this artice, we look at some of the players who had the largest movement in the rankings.
Aariana Rose Gravel Aariana Rose Gravel 6’0″ | PF Trinity Catholic | 2024 State FL made the largest leap in the rankings and to say she is a stock riser is putting it mildly. She blew the doors off of the rankings, just like she has done over the past year agains opponents Gravel is athletic as they come and plays with a lot of poise on the floor. She can jump out of the building and cleans up on the glass on both ends of the court. Offensively, she is strong and efficient in the paint and can score the basketball even when it’s physical down there. Finally, she can run the court and finishes with authority.
London Jenkins London Jenkins 5’4″ | PG Fleming Island | 2024 State FL was one the top scorers in the State last year, avering 20.1 points per game. With her last year’s high school play, and subsequent output on the courts, she made a large leap in the rankings. The speedy and athletic Jenkins is a finisher and can score in a variety of ways. She can shoot the long ball, shoot the midrange, score with the floater, and get down hill to the rim a hurry. She is very good in the open court and flourishes in the up tempo game.

Tatiana Matthews Tatiana Matthews 5’9″ | CG Dunnellon HS | 2024 State FL is a special player who is one of the top stockrisers in this 2024 rankings. Electric is the word that comes to mind. Matthews was unreal at times in the Orlando Live period and during her high school ball last season. With her skillsMatthews is fast and excels in the open court. She can finish in transition and can get to the rim. Matthew’s Senior season is going to be one to remember.

Anovia Sheals Anovia Sheals 5’11” | SF Mainland | 2024 State FL is a special player who is athletic and a baller. I saw her at one of the college camps in Daytona and she was just having her way getting to the rim and scoring. Scoring is something she knows how to do. Sheals nearly averaged 20 per outing. She is very good on defense and applies a lot of pressure on the handler. She also does a good job of cutting to the basket and scoring after the catch.
player_tooltip player_id=’426394′ first=’Lauren’ last=’Bell’] is one of the top bigs in the State of Florida and knows how to play She rebounds well and can put the ball in the basket. She stood out last year at the Thanksgiving live period in Jacksonville and coaches were taking notes about her in Orlando. Bell has great footwork and is a force on the inside and on the outside. Bell averaged 15.3 points and nearly 9 rebounds per game.
Danigzy Mantilla Danigzy Mantilla 5’5″ | PG St Cloud | 2024 State FL made a great impression this past AAU season. She is a selfless player who makes everyone around her better, including “writers.” Her play in Louisville and Orlando were consistent and special. She showed her ball handling abilities, her shooting skills, and her leadership on the floor. As a result of her play, her stock has risen. Looking forward to seeing her leading her team this upcoming season.
Kayla Massey Kayla Massey 5’4″ | PG Jean Ribault | 2024 State FL is the starting point guard at the basketball “mecca for girls basketball – Ribault. Massey puts pressure on the defense with her ability to drive the ball and get to the feeethrow line. She played well during the AAU season and adjusted well to the five out offensive set. Massey showed a lot of aggressiveness on the defensive end and got some steals as a result. Massey was one of the highest stockrisers. She is looking to lead Ribault’s talented team back to back to the playoffs and back to that “national” level they were accustomed to.
Jayla Rumley Jayla Rumley 5’10” | PF Bartow | 2024 State FL made a nice leap in the rankings. She is use to leaping, and that is usually while cleaning up on the glass. Rumley is athletic and looks like a college player already. She can also score in the paint and play through physical play. Rumley averaged over 10 points per game and over 7 rebounds per game. She was also a standout in the Sunshine showdown camp last year and balled out against some of the best talent in the State of Florida.
