Although leading this group in points per game, Currier shows value through her methodical passing. Effective finding baseline cutters through tight windows, the guard is patient while seeking out such attempts. The guard does well slowing down the pace once she is deep into the paint, carefully reading help rotations before making the extra pass. An effective rebounder on either end of the floor, the guard has no trouble getting physical with the opponents if necessary. Immediately seeking to box out following a shot attempt, Mims gets into position early to assert herself in the paint. Bringing a well balanced dosage from either end, 4.4 defensive to 5.2 offensive rebounds this past season, Mims will be an essential part of Regis Groff's success. While handling the rock, the guard is actively attacking downhill, seeking fouls or layups around the rim. Capable of handling the ball in the open court while being a decision maker with the ball, Shahan will be a valuable playmaker going into her junior season at Pagosa Springs.
