Matthews is a smooth and athletic combo guard that can make all the plays. She attacks the basket with finesse, physicality, and the ability to create space to get a shot off when she her team needs a bucket. She has good shooting mechanics and flow on her release. Shoots it well from the perimeter but can score in a multitude of ways in the mid-range. She has good handle and ball control, combined with elite court vision that makes her a dangerous playmaker. She is not afraid to kick out to open teammates for an easy bucket.
Higgins is a physical post presence who makes her living in the paint and cleaning the glass. She has stretch ability beyond the perimeter and relentless motor on the glass to create second chance scoring opportunities. She can protect the rim and alter shots with her rim protection. She has quick release and good shooting mechanics to get the ball out quickly and accurately.
Highlights
Kent is another frontcourt prospect that plays with an edge to her game. She sets great screens for her teammates on pick and rolls and has great court IQ. Kent has a knack for scoring the basket in the paint. She can play with her back to the basket and spin for an easy hook shot or attack the paint for a running floater. She has good footwork in the paint that allows her to make plays on both ends of the floor. Her hook shot is near unstoppable and can beat you on either side. She also has stretch ability with her perimeter shooting, has good mechanics and fairly quick release on her shot.
Poff is exciting prospect oozing with potential. She has lenght and has good athleticism to run the floor. High IQ player that can do a lot of everything. She sees the floor well, makes great cuts in the lanes, and excels off pick and pop shooting opportunities. She is an elite shooter, has spot up shooting capabilities and can also get her own shot off when needed. She attacks the basket, has good footwork in the paint to get around defenders and finish.
Gasparini is a walking double double that plays with a physical edge. She is an elite rebounder on both ends of the floor and scoops up second chance opportunites at every moment she can. She has good vision for kick outs to her teamates for open looks and always makes a quick first pass to get things moving. She thrives on second chance opportunities over the opposition and looks like she is toying with other teams when protecting the rim.
