Schools in the Counties: Bethune-Bowman HS, Calhoun Academy, Calhoun County HS, Edisto HS, Holly Hill Academy, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler HS, Lake Marion HS, North HS, Orangeburg Prep, Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS,
Bethune-Bowman HS – The Lady Mohawks finished (7-17) a season ago. Makaiyah Johnson and Senior post player Cha’Myri Boneparte look to be some returners back on this squad.
Calhoun Academy – The Lady Cavaliers will rely on Reagan Kizer Reagan Kizer 5'8" | PF Calhoun Academy | 2024 State SC to provide production. Kizer works for position in the paint – posting up with her back to the basket. She has soft hands to catch anything thrown in her direction.
Calhoun County HS (St Matthews) – The Lady Saints finished (11-9) last season. Jessica Palmer has graduated after averaging 17 ppg a season ago. Senior post player Takara Brown Takara Brown 5'11" | PF Calhoun County | 2024 State SC will look to fill the role this season. Brown averaged 10.5 ppg last season for the Lady Saints.
Edisto HS (Cordova) – The Lady Cougars have a tough season last year and finished (1-17).
Holly Hill Academy – Leanna Broadway Leanna Broadway 5'9" | SF Holly Hill Academy | 2024 State SC heads into her senior season at Holly Hill Academy for the Lady Raiders. Broadway a forward recently played in the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo in North Charleston.
Hunter-Kinard-Tyler HS – The Lady Trojans have an unknown talent in Tilayiza Youmans Tilayiza Youmans 5'8" | SF Hunter-Kinard-Tyler | 2025 State SC . Youmans a member of the 2025 Palmetto State Class averaged 22.2 ppg and 5.7 rebounds last season for the Lady Trojans. She plays 4 sports including volleyball, softball and track for H-K-T. She plays her best basketball while attacking the basket. Youmans really knows how to jump the passing lanes on defense. She’s a capable shooter from the wing position. Jarviah Davis and Kailen Grant both members of the 2028 Palmetto State Class will look to add support this season.
Lake Marion HS (Santee) – The Lady Gators (9-14) have relied on Danasia Wright Danasia Wright 5'10" | SF Lake Marion | 2024 State SC over the years on the hardwood. Wright a left-handed wing player averaged 11.6 ppg and 4.3 rebounds a season ago. She can use a nice dribble pull-up jumper to score the ball.
North HS (North) – The Lady Eagles lost Keyosha Hammond Keyosha Hammond 5'6" | SG Airport | 2024 State SC who transferred over to Airport HS in West Columbia. Head Coach Irek Hartwell will have a very young squad in Coco Charley Coco Charley 4'9" | SG North | 2027 State SC , Mari Calloway and Zahmira Jamison. Charley surely doesn’t play timid for her age or size on the floor. She has the ability to knockdown open shots on the perimeter. Calloway a point guard surely competes while she’s on the floor for the Lady Eagles. Jamison is a left-handed undersized post player. Zahmira seems to be a better fit in a good half-court setting.
Orangeburg Prep – The Lady Indians play in SCISA Class 3A with the likes of Hilton Head Christian. Who will step-up and replace Campbell Delaney since she has graduated? The Lady Indians finished last season at (17-4) and bowed out of the SCISA Class 3A Playoffs to Shannon Forest 33-31 in the Final 4.
Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS – The Bruinettes could look to rely on a youngster in Joliyah Robinson Joliyah Robinson 5'6" | PG Orangeburg-Wilkinson | 2027 State SC this coming season. Robinson can score the ball at all 3-levels on the floor. She really seems to be at her best with the rock in her hands. Divona Rumph Divona Rumph 6'1" | C Orangeburg-Wilkinson | 2026 State SC is a young post player who should see good minutes this coming season. Rumph is certainly a RAW talent and learning to play down in the paint for the Bruinettes.
